I had the Scallops and even though they were tasty there were only 3 of them for $27.The service and atmosphere were excellent.

The food here is great, I really enjoy the salmon salad and I have yet to be disappointed. Dining in is a nice experience but it almost feels like you recieve too much service. Its nice to have full water I suppose but I dont need a check in from the servers every few minutes

I went twice recently. Once for dinner and once for a private baby shower. Dinner was excellent and the service was very good. We went on a night that was half price wine bottles-always a plus. Food came out exactly as requested. Very happy. The second visit was for a baby shower. We had a separate room available and the staff did a good job checking in on us.

This visit, 03/16/2024, to Trios gets a Rating of 3.5 stars. My wife and I were having a celebration of her career milestone at her favorite restaurant. We ordered and were pleased with, the Meatball Appetizer, French Onion Soup, Beet Salad, as well as the Banana Cream Pie. All were well prepared, presented and served at satisfactory temperatures. The Filet was our main course with Baked Potato. Quite the disappointment. When presented the Butter and I think Sour Cream were a liquified mix oozing down the sides of the potato. Indicating our plate was sitting with at least the potato. Never having steak at Trios, I provided several descriptions on how we would like the Filet cooked, Medium Plus (Medium Medium Well), about a 1/4 past Medium. I further described it as pink throughout. The Filet was served well done from the edges to almost the center. The center looked about right, but, kept cooking and ended up medium well. The texture of the Filet was spongy, a bit chewy; kind of a chalky texture. Definitely not worth the price or the wait. This issue was shared with the person that served the Filet. His response was the outside is always cooked more than the center. When our waiter finally showed up, we pointed out the same issue. Yes, we ate most of the steak, but there still was about a quarter left to show him. He acknowledged the steak was overcooked. No apology, no Management follow-up. I did not take a photo, but, there is a picture etched in my memory. The other issue this visit, was the lack of the usual attentive service. Support staff handling water, bread, clearing and other miscellaneous issues as well as server follow-ups. Our food was served. Less than usual staff interaction.

I came here for a dinner in their private room (40ish guests), so I'm sure that made for a little different experience than a regular diner, but the service was very good. We ordered three courses from a subset of their food menu and had the full drink menu available. For me: the salad was salad. The salmon was crispy and well-seasoned; the accompaniments on the plate and sauce were decent, but the salmon was definitely the star. The carrot cake was moist, not overwhelmingly sweet, and good enough to eat again. I left satisfied and would be willing to come back for a meal in the regular dining room sometime.

Atmosphere and food taste/quantity was above average. Waitress was slow to take order, check on us/food/clear plates and never brought the bread she offered. But was quick to hint for us to leave when we declined dessert and sat for a bit after we finished dinner. Also was brought the wrong soup.

I have eaten at Trios many times and I have always enjoyed my time there. Last night was the first time I was dissapointed. We were seated late despite having a reservation and our table was served by a round robin of servers since we barely saw the server that was assigned to our table. While the food was excellent as always when we were done our main server came by and was ready to hand us our checks. She didn't even offer dessert to us and when we asked we were told the kitchen was closing and she would have to box it to go. It was 8:20. What kitchen closes at 8:20 on a Thursday night? What added insult to injury was seeing other tables being served dessert as we were leaving. I love Trios and I will be back again. I will make sure to request a different server if I see them again.
