Disappointed this evening. Waited an hour to be sat just to find out they were out of 3 of the 4 dinner options. How do you run out of dinner by 8pm on a Friday?*Edit to original review. It is great to know that running out of food by 8pm is common since the food is made fresh. We will be sure to avoid this as our dinner option moving forward. Maybe you should consider having more on hand especially on the weekend? Also for seating we were told the high tops would be available within 20 minutes ? lucky for you, your bartender was so nice we lost track of time(Sarah). We were about to order when we were told our table was ready. Maybe instead of being a keyboard warrior you actually apologize to your patrons when things go wrong and you will have returning business. You stared at us as we left with no care in world. ??

EDIT: Before reading just know the owner for some reason has been harassing me and calling this profile fake. I think it says a lot that any negative review she will write off as "fake." She clearly cannot handle negative feedback and was likely coddled as a child. As for the former employee part, I've never worked here nor known someone who has. Although I think it also goes to show the kind of person she is to get in fights with ex-employees.Honestly I’ve been a fan since they were just a food truck. When word was spreading management was driving this place into the ground, I always came to the defense. The food is decent but it’s not worth supporting the owner Betsy. She’s disrespectful to staff and customers. She’s always been odd, but my final straw came when I overheard her cussing out her own staff for dropping a tray of food. It’s sad it happens we are human. The language she used was not okay, throwing out offensive slurs and not caring about the feelings of her own employees. I can see how the quality had dropped significantly, she’s beating everyone down mentally. I would avoid this place until management changes.

Love urban grill so much . Their Mac and cheese buffalo chicken sandwich is my go to. And their fries are hands down my favorite.

Booked a reservation here for a team outing. Lunch first then kayaking; Everyone was super psyched. Arrived promptly at noon, chatted a bit, and then ordered. Didn't get our food until 1:10 (about 1 hour after ordering). Server kept saying 5 more minutes, only to reveal after the food came that they had a large order before ours. That's fine, but our next reservation was at 1:30 (we let the server know that). Basically giving us 10 minutes to consume our meal. We were literally giving each other awkward looks if we were taking too long to eat. It was comical. Paying premium for subpar service and food we didn't enjoy. Should have gone to Subway instead. Cheers!Ps: they have these coated French fries that had no flavor, which was so odd.

Urban Grill, Newtown. Always a welcoming, “comfy”’ and informal atmosphere. Indoors or enclosed, covered, heated, roomy “outside” porch with nice views. Good value. Varied (but not overstretched) tasty menu; friendly and efficient staff.Oh, yes… and a well-equipped bar.Well worth a visit. ???- Pete M.
Had the special, Duck Confit, it was amazing. The atmosphere was good and the service was great. I’ll definitely be returning.

Another wonder dinner at Urban Grill on Main. With terrific personal service from Jen the best server I have ever encountered. I took a friend tonight that had not yet been there I tried something new (not my normal favorite Pork Chops) Crispy Maple Salmon ? I think I have a new favorite, my guest got the Pork Roulade and was very pleased with the whole experience by far my favorite place to dine.
