I love everything about VV. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The espresso macchiato is perfection in a beautiful teal blue cup. I love to enjoy one in the front window and watch the happenings of Mt. Lookout square. VV is not just a coffee shop though, they also have delicious pastries, sandwiches, meals, and drinks.

Cute little spot in the process of expanding to the space next door, which will be great for them. We made a reservation and arrived at 6p on a Thursday, was pretty empty but filled up quickly. We split the Tante Belle Cose between three of us and it was perfect. Another at our table had pasta and said it was great. Service was friendly and they didn't rush us out. I'd come back for sure.

I’ve tried twice before to patronize this business out of excitement for a new experience and new restaurant. I pass it everyday on my way to work.Twice before when I tried to stop by, they were closed (closed on Mondays). So I made sure to stop by today after my swim lesson.Upon entering, I was struck not only by how beautiful it is inside-The ambiance is beautiful but also by how chaotic it felt. I was not sure which line to be in and there were customers all around and no sense of direction.Sad to say, I left without being served or acknowledged. A man behind me pushed past me, pushing me forward without so much as an “excuse me” or look back. I said aloud, “excuse me, sir. You almost knocked me over” to which the woman behind the counter gave a nervous chuckle, but nothing else.After waiting for 5 more minutes to be acknowledged or helped, I finally left and went to a different restaurant.Maybe today was an off day. I’ll try again, possibly on a weekday. I’ll update the review if things are different.

We stopped in for lunch on the weekend! Lucked out with quickly being seated too! Super cute atmosphere, feels like a mix between a coffee shop & cafe. We had the Lucia (salad), Bolognese (pasta), cappuccinos, and a Bomba (gelato) for dessert. Everything was delicious and came out quickly. All the staff were welcoming & friendly!

I have only tried VV once - and I will return. My first experience was just a couple of pasta dishes. It's pasta!!!!!!! So what is more important is the sauces - which were not bad, but nor did they blow me away. Friendly? YES! Service? Very efficient! Atmosphere? Mmmm...it's Italian, the focus is on the food. When it comes to good Italian food in a mostly German heritage town like cincinnati, there is a subjective standard. Give this place a try. I will... but my expectations are higher now having tried it once!
