Been a couple years since I've been to a waffle house because there aren't any in Cleveland where I live. Workers were extremely sweet and attentive and repeatedly checked on me. Food was great!
Waffle House is fine as long as you know what to expect going in. The food is consistent across the country. The hash browns are good, the burger just average. The workers at this waffle house were great.

I ask for cheese in my grits and was told the cheese was put at the bottom and no one would check to see or even bothered to ask the cook was there cheese so I took their word for it that it was on the bottom because I clearly didn't see it on top which is where it usually is when I get cheese. But I got all the way home and no cheese that I paid for. Kinda messed my whole taste for that meal up.

We got there right after the breakfast rush, so they were a little tired and irritable with each other. Our waitress was very sweet and ready to serve! The food was good as usual, since WH has the best cheese eggs out there!! Tables were messy, so it took a while to be seated. While we were eating, a server was cleaning and mopping with bleach, which I've learned to love the smell of, since COVID... That was a plus!
The Manager totally disgraced a waitress who was merely trying to seat us at a clean table. I felt so bad for the waitress she ran to the bathroom crying. ??

It's Waffle House; what more needs to be said. Decent, no frills food at a fair price. We were planning take-out, but since the venue was relatively empty (mid-week, early afternoon), we decided to stay. Seems like a new crew working this location. The food was great and served hot. Waitress provided attentive but not annoying service. Overall, it was a good visit.
