We got here and were told a 45 minute wait. We decided to go ahead and wait despite the fact there was no line and only 2 other people waiting. The poor hostess was running around like a chicken with her head cut off doing 5 people's jobs while the servers seemed to be mostly standing around. After over an hour, we were finally sat only to be told they were out of both chicken and shrimp. Then we were told they only had water and tea to drink. We definitely wouldn't have waited over an hour had we known these things in advance. When we got up to the food bar to create our stir fry they were out of mushrooms, peppers, and some other things I don't even know what they were. Needless to say, we weren't happy with our experience and would not return. The place was also filthy. And I'm still not sure why the wait was so long.

We've been coming here for YEARS. Today we were very excited to come again but unfortunately it was extremely dirty! A lot of staff members sitting up front instead of cleaning and refreshing the food area.Vegetarian options: A lot of choiceParking: Parking on certain days is free nearby. Otherwise it is meters

So this place doesn't look like it will be in business much longer if they don't revamp it. It has gone way downhill over the years. We went tonight. Half the seating was closed off and already chairs on the tables at 7pm, place is dimly lit and dirty, hardly any staff. One person on the grille but the normal fun atmosphere at the grille is gone. The salad bar is long gone. The overall atmosphere is just dead. It used to be fun and lively and now it seems like it's barely scraping to get by. If your the owner, wake up please or sell to someone who will bring it back to the way it was. Our waitress was very nice, I almost felt bad for her because of how dead it is.

The buffet was out of a lot of things including shrimp, peas, broccoli, pea pods and 4 or 5 sauces. They had no soft drinks or lemonade. Only ice tea and beer. We waited for over 15 minutes after we were seated for our server to show up. Than we waited for 20 minutes for our food after we took it up to be cooked. By the time it was brought to the table, we had to wait for wraps and rice. Then there was no brown rice, only white rice. The food was like warm at best by the time it got to the table and the wraps and rice arrived. We have been to BD'S many times before, but I really doubt ever again. This was one of the worst dinners I've ever had. No salad bar or soup anymore either.

No idea how the food is. We showed up at 8:15. 20 minute wait for a table was fine. 20 more minutes for someone to take the order was not. We ordered 5 meals and waited. And waited. 40 minutes later after watching multiple other tables come and go we finally left. I don't know what happened but they seemingly just forgot we were there.

Sadly, this restaurant is badly in need of a revamp. The decor is tired, the place is ill-lit, it seems dirty, and the staff is overworked. There was one server for the entire place. I don't know the staffing situation with the cooks, but our food took a RIDICULOUS amount of time to come, and the food bar and central grill seemed unsanitary. My orange chicken was barely edible. Our lunch took almost two hours (and the restaurant was not even 1/4 full).

It's been a family tradition for us to go out to dinner to BD's for my birthday. I think we missed the last year or two - one year for the pandemic and last year we went to Kintaro instead which is closer to my parents. There were 7 of us that went to BD's for my early birthday dinner yesterday. Before going, we had read the recent reviews which were mixed. We were on the fence about going but decided to see for ourselves.I had tried to call early to see if there would be a wait and if I would need to get there early. Nobody answered and the call just terminated. I had no need to worry, we got a table as soon as we got there around 6:30 pm - there were only a couple other people there but it was a Tuesday night vs the weekend. For drinks, they were out of Dr. Pepper and Pepsi. For appetizers, they were out of the pot stickers and the crab fritters. The cost of a single make-your-own bowl was $17.99 for dinner which was the option I chose. At the raw food bar, there were less options than there were previously. There was no fresh pork, just kielbasa style sausage and pork meatballs. I remembered having 2 steak options in the past, I believe steak and ribeye, but they only had steak. All of the foods were pretty low in stock and only one side of the food bar was accessible. The atmosphere at the grill was subdued compared to the previous enthusiastic team that used to be there. You now get a ticket from your server when ordering that has your initials on it that you take to the grill with your raw bowl and sauces. You leave your meal up there to cook and the server will bring it to you once it's done.Overall the food was decent, but it was disappointing that they were sold out of 2 appetizers we wanted to try. I also enjoyed their raspberry iced tea.The restrooms definitely could use some work. Only one of the two stalls in the Mongals restroom had toilet paper and the roll was loose, the dispenser itself was empty. One of the sinks was broken as the pipe under that sink was leaking into a tub beneath it.Overall the restroom and the restaurant could have been cleaner and more visually appealing.I think this will be our last dinner at BD's for the foreseeable future. It just seems to have gone downhill from the experience we were used to having. My family talked about going somewhere like K-Pot in Strongsville instead next time we're planning a celebratory dinner.

Overall, the food was pretty good. The service was very good, and our server was polite and helpful. There is definitely room for improvement in cleanliness. I unfortunately found a bug in my drink and also, there was bugs flying around while we ate. Not the most pleasant experience but I feel like if these things were improved it would be a good retestaurant.

Food looked disgusting on the buffet. No one even acknowledged our presence when we arrived. Employees were cleaning with unsanitary practices. We left.

Absolutely awful experience. I have never been to this establishment and I would never think of coming here again. A group of us decided to try this out before heading to a concert at the Grog Shop since it is just down the road. It took over 20 minutes to get seated in a half empty restaurant. While we were waiting to get seated we decided to grab a shot from the bar. They did not have any clean shot glasses apparently, so we were served in multiple different sizes of glasses that must have just came out of a washer since they were almost hot. Nothing like a hot shot of tequila.. Once we were seated, there were 3 appetizers ordered along with another round of drinks, and we all ordered pre-made bowls. We received more hot shots in random glasses. After about an hour 1 appetizer came out. No sign of any other apps or food. During that time we watched another couple come in, get seated, eat, and leave. We were offered another alcoholic beverage (which we all politely declined after having 2 drinks served in hot glasses..) but never had any of our water refilled, which were all empty by the time we were all fed up with the service and decided to leave. As we were leaving I looked over at the grill and it did not look like they had even thought about starting our food yet. So about an hour and a half for 2 drinks and one appetizer for the table. Easily the worst service I have ever received, especially in an establishment that wasn't even busy.
