Overpriced pub food. The braised lamb was ok, but served with crushed potato chips, I expected potato. The chicken or should I say chicken tenders left a lot to be desired. Drinks were good and the bartender was nice. As far as atmosphere, it is too loud. I should have brought ear plugs. They need to install sound dampers.

Always incredible food and service. One of my favorite restaurants in Cleveland!

The bartenders and servers were excellent! The entire staff clearly is in a groove and support one another well. We had six dishes, between four of us, which was the perfect amount along with some beverages. Food quality and creativity was incredible. The atmosphere is contemporary yet comfortable. A bit loud but that is also part of the energy here. Prices are inline with the experience. Looking forward to our next visit!

Food was delicious. The curried lamb hummus was a big hit, despite the fact I don't generally like lamb. Hummus was delightfully nutty. The music was loud but the service was stellar.

Food was delicious. We were asked to order all of our items at once, everything was brought out very close together. We felt a bit rushed. Other small plates restaurants had us order a few at a time and the meal was very leisurely. The food was DELICIOUS .

Recently dined here after much anticipation and was left mostly satisfied! The hummus was delicious, along with the fresh flatbread and Zhug (one of our fave parts of the meal). The date braised lamb was also a big standout. The Brussels sprouts were crispy and tender, but the octopus dish we had much anticipated was super greasy/salty and a very small portion so that one left us a bit disappointed. Cocktails were just okay, tasty but nothing super unique. Overall very good but a bit expensive for what you get, but will return for a smaller meal!

Really excellent place. Not at all the standard mediterranean flavors I expected, more leaning into the middle eastern/Israeli /Lebanese side in types of dishes. The taste profiles were very bold, but if this kinda cuisine is your thing, you'll love it. Despite stuffing our faces, I didn't feel bad after the meal at all. That saffron braised lamb in particular was outrageously good. The signature Zhug hot sauce couldn't be better and was generously used on everything.

Their food, my God... everything I ordered was phenomenal. Upon first bite, I had a surprised look on my face with each new dish I tried, as the flavor and texture combinations were simply amazing (e.g., warm white beans, beets, cauliflower). They have a fabulous wine/ cocktail menu, and the service was excellent as well; hostess, bartenders, servers - all were exceptional. Though the atmosphere is nice, the dining area can be quite loud.

It left me very confused because there menu had all Palestinian food but apparently it was something else. I’m confused because it was all Palestinian food but it just felt colonized and it claimed to be “Israeli” cuisine and I have no idea what that is.

BEST restaurant in town! The ambiance, the food, the staff, everything. It's my go-to spot for celebrating and for special occasions. Highly recommend the brussel sprouts and carrots. The cocktails are all delicious too.

Visited Zhug with a friend in January 2024 and it certainly lived up to the expectations. Luckily my friend has been to Zhug before and knew some of the great things from the menu, including:1. curried lamb and apricot hummus (star of the meal)2. crispy brussels sprouts 3. butter roasted shrimpFor dessert we had the tahini ice cream sundae with *extra* hot fudge and it was delicious.gazoz no.8 sparkling pear shrub, cardamom (non-alcoholic) cocktail was also a star

My sister highly recommended this spot so we finally went to to try it and it was a 10/10! The food and experience was amazing. The food is shared plates so I would recommend 1 dish a person unless you're getting dips then I would get 2 per person, but also depends on how hungry you are. We were 3 people and the 4 dishes we got we perfect! The hummus was literally so fresh and creamy and honestly peanut sounded odd but so yum! The chicken was cooked to perfection and the sauce it came with added so much flavor. The carrots were very soft which is not how I'd prefer them but the taste was so good! Finally, the lingcod cakes were basically like a crab cake and was really good - didn't have much of a seafood taste which I appreciated. We didn't have any room for dessert but will definitely try it the next time I'm visiting. The service was amazing and quick and the food always came out hot so that was great. There is a decent amount of seating inside and I didn't see any outdoor seating - but normally there is a wait time if you come during peak hours, however you can get lucky if you come on a random night of course :) They don't take reservations but it's so worth checking it out!

Unique options in appetizers and entres. If it is your first time have the hostess help you with orders. Always crowded,
