Nice date night ambience. Sat at the bar, service was great and the retail section near the front is awesome. Will be back!

Astoria is a fun place for brunch that I've been told is a good place to meet your friends from the far side of town. I'd definitely recommend reservations. The dining area is on the small side and there was a pretty big line when we left. That being said, the staff were really friendly, service was great, and I've been dreaming of that fried chicken. We had the full brunch beverage array - water, coffee, and a fun drink. The menu isn't huge, but everything looked good, and there are some intriguing boards I'd like to sample. I had the chicken and biscuit, and the chicken was fantastic. I'm sure the biscuit was good, too, but I was pretty honed in on the chicken. The skin SNAPS when you bite it! So good! The food was well seasoned, and the staff were really nice about letting us take our time, even on a busy day.

We had a fantastic dinner here while visiting family! There was one dish that was just a little too salty (and I'm not very sensitive to salty) but that was very minor and overall the food was really great. Our server was also very attentive and helpful with recommendations.

My family and I enjoyed an awesome Engagement party there last week in a private room. Every since, I've been recommending this place to everyone who's looking for an intimate venue, good music, and excellent food. I really appreciated the special attention we received from the staff. We really enjoyed ourselves!

Last minute changes to brunch with girlfriends we decided to head to this fabulous spot in Ohio City. The variety of food on the brunch menu was fantastic. I’ll be back soon for the mimosas!

Disappointed. Sat at the bar to enjoy cocktails, but didn’t like my sickly sweet drink. I only finished about 10% of it and none of the three bartenders asked how it was or offered another option. For $15 per drink, I expect a higher level of service.

the hostess working 4/7 brunch shift was insanely rude for no reason. there's plenty of other places in cleveland to go and spend my money and not be treated that way!!

Excellent lunch experience. We got three boards and it was a great lunch for three people. Loved the explanation of the meats and cheeses.

Astoria Cafe & Market is for sure a Cleveland must try. The service was quick and welcoming and the atmosphere was very relaxed. I ordered a variation of Lamb tacos, and Baklava for dessert. Both items were a complete 5/5. The lamb tacos were filled with flavor and perfectly executed. The Baklava was the best I have had in my life. I cry now that I must return home, but have saved this spot on my list of GOATED foods.

Worth the trip... Food (meatloaf, octopus) was delicious, and I want to try additional dishes in the future.

I visited for the first time towards the end of January 2024 after viewing the new apartments across the street. They have a small market that is attached to the restaurant so you can shop for some Italian spices, sauces, snacks, wine, etc PIZZAS -- Their pizzas are probably one of the best that I've had in Cleveland. Soft and rich. Flavourful. I ordered the Pizza Margherita ($15 during happy hour time) which consists of herb-roasted tomatoes , fresh mozzarella cheese, and basil with a garlic sauce. This pizza is soooo flavourful and just perfect. No meat is even needed. Normally, I don't like to eat cheese neither do I really like sole cheeses or I hardly eat cheese but the mozzarella cheese in this pizza did not make my stomach hurt and it tasted fresh. Earlier this morning, I came across my photo of the margherita pizza and I'm craving to order it tonight - that's how delicious it is. I recently had a dry and hard pizza from a pizza restaurant in Lakewood but Astoria Cafe has one of the best pizzas in the city of Cleveland. I also tried their pepperoni and mushroom pizza and those were really. I also ordered the Chicken Avgolemono Soup ($7) as a starter before the pizzas arrived and this was a nice soup but it needed some more flavour besides salt. I'll definitely be back to Astoria Cafe to try other menu items and to buy the Biscotello cookies from their small market. **** GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024 - 10/150 total reviews in 2024 - 660 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on Friday, 15 March 2024
