We had a girls night out and the food was great and the atmosphere was very cozy..we had faron as are server he was very knowledgeable and friendly..we will definitely be back thank you ?

This is hands down, the coolest restaurant I've ever been to. I'd give it 10 stars if I could! I can't even explain how awesome the interior and lighting are. Our server was so friendly and helpful. Do yourself a favor and just go! You can dress casual but it's also a great place to get dressed up for!

Went there Saturday night 2/10/24 for a date with the wife. Host/hostess were great and welcomed with a smile. Waitress was atrocious barely at the table and seemed annoyed being there. Steak frites or Steak & French fries was just ok best part was the French fries .The drinks were just ok....overall the placed looked nice but the customer service was so terrible along with just ok food... The wife and I probably wouldn't go back go and I can't recommend this place to anyone honestly.

I was super excited to try Bartleby and this space is so EXCELLENT, is a cute signature space. My food did not disappoint although my server was... GHETTO! I'm sorry there is no other word. The Bartleby salad I asked for never came but that's because she stood so far away from me she probably didn't hear me or either forgot. My friend asked for a wine and while the server was still standing at our table she asked to change to a cocktail and the server responded: I already rang in the other drink you asked for! That was just a first for me in the fine dining experience! It's ok because their cocktails need some pizzazz... I got the Diablo I just found it to be a bit flat but not bad just not especially memorable! They had run out of parsley for my friend's truffle fries. ? Now my scallops on little beds of sweet potato pancakes with squid ink sauce and some type of spicy hollandaise was AMAZING! When we asked for to go trays she asked us to count how many we needed and I saw the bags and grabbed them because she didn't give them to us! There were four of us at the table and maybe she just didn't care for us because when we checked out my friend said: why did she charge us 6 party large gratuity?! I was not at all surprised she did because she was... Well, my friends and I had a great time anyways! Crazy girl!!! ?

First walked in and was astounded by the unique and antique inspired decor. We ordered the chicken with potatoes, a salad and truffle fries which all tasted very well. The place is expensive but expected with the atmosphere and location. Many tables have candle holders which you can light yourselves and illuminate the table to offer more light. Our server was very kind and helpful. Overall, I would come again.

The food wasn’t good or hot at all which was weird as we were one of 3 sets of customers in the whole place. The water we were given was warm and tasted like sewer water (literally). It was extremely dark which was fine but then you add hard rock music to the “classy” environment and the night is ruined as it felt like we were in a cheap night club. The music was so loud we couldn’t converse.We scarfed down the terrible food quickly as we were all overstimulated with the blaring loud music after a few minutes of being there. The overall vibe doesn’t match the atmosphere at all and I would strongly advise against dining here if wanting an upscale experience. The pictures do not match the environment in person and the food is nasty.

I ate here in the fall with a group of 10. We did beat the dinner rush but the service was fantastic and food and drinks were amazing. I had chicken dish with asparagus and potatoes. It was fabulous.
Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. Went here for the first time tonight and it was a great experience. Staff was friendly, food was good, drinks were good, the atmosphere was beyond amazing. The wait times were appropriate for food, service, and drinks. Our server went above and beyond for a Birthday. I think some of these complaints are from unpleasant people who like to complaint. Highly recommend this place.

I’ve eaten here before and decided to try it again when I was in town recently. Unfortunately, this time was a disaster. We sat at the bar and couldn’t even get the bartenders attention for at least 15 minutes (and it wasn’t even that crowded in there). After we ordered, we still didn’t have our drinks for another 20 minutes. At this point,We just cancelled our order and left. This place has a good look, but it’s unfortunately their service is so bad.

This is another beautiful building in Ohio City. It is worth going just to see the inside. The vibe here is what you go for. Swanky library type feeling with red ‘velvet’ booths and real candelabras at each table. The server will light them for you upon seating. The food is pretty good. Our table had a burger and the fettuccine which were ok. If you go, order the pork chop, it was by far the best at our table and a dish they do really well. I think I’d recommend going in for a drink and appetizer. We didn’t sit at the bar this time but will try it out next time as it looks just as welcoming.
