Took my wife here for her birthday. While we really don't seek out French food, we heard the place was good. We were absolutely blown away by the creativity and flavor of our dishes! The Nicoise salad was incredible! Entrees were amazing as well and we finished with the table side banannas foster. We got to watch the pressed duck next to us. Definitely a 'must go' place!! I took off a couple points as our server (we could tell he was new) barely said 10 words to us the entire dinner and had no knowledge of the menu or drinks. He was a little nervous I think. We kinda had server-envy as we could see some others were really engaging other patrons. We'll be back with a table full of friends to share next time!

The hype for this place must be sustained by guilt. The food was passable but not exciting or executed with much inspiration or skill. The service is, quite simply, terrible. We waited 30 minutes for bread and staff to take our order and it was only happenstance that one of the servers noticed our closed menus and empty table and asked if we wanted bread while we waited. The time between courses was excessive as well. We had to ask for our bread plates, which had to be used for appetizers because no others were provided, to be cleared. I won’t enumerate further the many failings in service and understand this is supposedly a training restaurant but more training is sorely needed. The atmosphere was loud, as in the guests at the adjacent table were literally shouting at each other, all while discordant 80s pop was played too loud over the cacophony of dinner conversation. This was not a fine dining experience even though it was priced as such. Do not recommend and would not return.

This place is seriously overrated in my opinion. The food was average. We had three gourmet dinners in Cleveland, this was the worst. The service was slow and sloppy. Lastly, the restaurant was LOUD and oh so warm!!!Definitely do not recommend. Definitely will not be back.

Putting aside the incredible mission this place has, the food was amazing. The shared duck was delicious, the grouper was cooked perfectly! And the cocktails were great. Some minor hiccups, mostly around pacing, but this is a training establishment. If I lived in the area this would be a top go to place.

I'm glad I was able to make it in during Cleveland Restaurant Week - I had an amazing three course dinner with a flight of wine pairings and some delicious cheeses. I chose the salad, the Paupiette de Merou (the chef's specialty), and the crème brulée. Everything was fantastic, I can't wait to come back and try some of the many cheeses I wasn't able to sample last time.Parking: Not sure if the meters for street parking and parking lot are daytime only, but they do offer complimentary valet.

Excellent food and cool concept (i.e., training ground for those with backgrounds dealing with legal troubles). Cheese cart is amazing, love the fireplace in the back too. Knowing most of the staff were training in new careers helped immensely with patience/understanding of minor slip ups too.

Edwin's continues to be one of my favorite restaurants on the East Side. Food was delicious, service was very good and friendly, ambience was elegant. We really wanted frog's legs and being people with easily sated appetites only had soup and salad to start. All was wonderful. The chestnut fennel soup was lovely and the frog's legs were very nummy. Many things on the menu I would like to try, so we'll be back soon

Overall wonderful dining experience, extremely attentive staff, nice enjoyable meal. Must splurge for the cheese and dessert. Everything tasted great, a bit pricier but worth it for the experience and mission they serve. Definitely will return!

Love dining at Edwins. It's a restaurant with a positive mission. If I'm going to spend that amount for dinner it makes me feel good to know it's good for a cause. The mission to give people that were previously incarcerated a career and job is so important! Our server Courtney did an Amazing job and was a sweetheart!! Food everything was Delicious! Great job Brandon I am always impressed!

The food and service were outstanding. We celebrated our son's birthday and the staff went out of their way to help with the celebration. Food preparation was perfect and the price reasonable given the quality of the restaurant. Brittany, our server, was particularly special.
