A Cleveland gem for 23 years! Thank you Chef Karen Small for bringing farm to table to CLE way before it was cool and creating amazing food every single day. We'll miss The Fig terribly. The best!

We got brunch on Valentine's Day weekend. The food was delicious, the server was on point, and the atmosphere was very casual.

Every thing looked great, flew in from Miami with this being my first choice, but they wouldn't serve me. Poor customer service all but one server and bartender willing to place order within 10 minutes of their last call after I had asked to sit at the bar hours before, but hostess and main bar tender ran over to each of them to say "NO FOOD" in front of all guests, quite loudly, very rude but I suppose this is why they are closing soon, guess I'll never know. I'm sure the food tasted wonderful.

I can't believe this place is closing this weekend. I love the smoked turkey sandwich. It's one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Everything in it, including the bread is divine. My favorite appetizer is their carrots. Sounds simple, but they cook them so well. I tried to replicate, but to no avail. Everything I've had here is delicious. The olive oil cake is *chef's kiss*. I've had several while living in New York City and they don't compare. I hope the owners reconsider this move to close and reincarnate their dishes somehow in their new venture.

Very very nice restaurant. My veggie biscuits with gravy was excellent. Would love this place more if there were more vegan and vegetarian options. Overall, a great restaurant in Cleveland.

I didn't get a chance to take a picture of my food because I was starving. But from the first bite to the last bite the biscuit and sausage was AMAZING! Sat at the bar and was greeted by an awesome bar tender that made me a fantastic whiskey sour. The place is super quaint and food service and presentation is really nice. Service amazing. I'm about to order dessert, I'll be back for the review lol

Terrible restrooms, excellent food and drinks. Absolutely fantastic dining experience- until my wife and I used their restrooms, which are similar to college bar bathrooms. You would think at a place this good they would be a little more mindful of the overall experience. I would definitely return, but a little paint would go a long way. Just my opinion.

We ordered from the happy hour menu: two glasses of wine, bacon-wrapped dates, eggplant fries, and a burger. Food was good, and it came out within a reasonable time. We ate outside in the street dining area, with a lovely view.

Have walked by this place SO many times and finally stopped in for brunch with a group of friends...everything was great! Between us, we ordered the breakfast sandwich, corn cakes (my favorite), veggie biscuits and gravy, and the quiche and it all tasted incredible. Drinks and service were on point as well and just LOVE the farm to table aspect. Will definitely be back!

My husband and I have been coming here for date night for years - it's an incredibly underappreciated restaurant in Cleveland. Their food is local, seasonal, and the menu changes frequently. Nice craft cocktails and wine selection. We've been to pretty much all the top restaurants in Cleveland, but the Flying Fig staff's hospitality is among the very best. I personally think Ray is the best server in Cleveland. We recently hosted a birthday dinner in their private room. Julia, the event coordinator, helped us craft a delicious and varied menu. Service during our party was prompt, attentive, and warm. Julia even helped coordinate two custom cakes with a local baker to match the birthday invitation. The best part was that my cousin, who has severe allergies, was so well taken care of that he was actually able to relax and enjoy dining out. If you have allergies of any kind, you can feel safe knowing that the servers and kitchen staff will take your allergy seriously and thoroughly check ingredient lists. I can't recommend the Flying Fig highly enough for a delicious dinner, dessert + drinks at the bar, or a private celebration.

Celebrated a family event at The Flying Fig's private room. @25-30 people. All staff were professional, attentive, and kind. The attention given to food allergies gave us great confidence and assurance that they were taken seriously. They were well understood and handled professionally. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Great atmosphere! Very accommodating staff and great customer service. We had to move our reservation up due to a change in plans and they were able to accommodate our request. Food and cocktails were awesome! Will definitely be back.

This place never fails to disappoint. Tried it 18 years ago, and gave it another chance this year. Food still terrible. Service has no clue.
