Another great experience at Goma! Yummy food options. Calamari and shrimp appetizer was awesome! Goma roll was interesting. Loved the lobster roll and shrimp tempura roll! Very busy! Lots of people there before the Cavs game.

This restaurant feels like it's going for a cool, stylish vibe; but it actually has kind of a chain-restaurant feel to it. The food itself is pretty basic. I had ramen that was OK, but nothing to write home about. If I just happened to be in the area and particularly wanted Japanese food I might go back; but I wouldn't go there for any kind of special night out.

Food is very average and not memorable, not anything like the Dante or Ginko—chef Boccuzzi's other restaurants. Service was slow, even though the restaurant was practically empty. Sashimi special, scallops and tenderloin toban were good, drinks were good, truffle lobster miso was very bland, mushroom tempura was OK, the sushi was OK.

Chef Lee is a true master of his craft, creating not just sushi but culinary experiences. His dedication to detail and creativity make each omakase meal a journey of flavors and textures. It's wonderful to have such talent in Cleveland's culinary scene.

Best sushi in the Cleveland area hands down. Ask Lee the sushi chef for recommendations to suit your taste. The seafood is always so fresh and the flavor accouterments are spot on. The fatty tuna is one of my favorites and the soft shell crab was cooked to perfection. Definitely try the mushroom salad with ginger dressing it's so flavorful. Definitely my favorite sushi spot in Cleveland. There is a wide selection of sushi and it's never disappointed yet.

An Omakase experience that rivals some of the best and more modern we've had in NY. Paying homage to the great traditions but elevating and updating with newer school approaches. Chef Lee uses the finest ingredients that he clearly respects. Put yourself in his capable hands and enjoy the experience.

First time try. Arrived early at opening, filled up quickly. Nice selection on menu, not to overwhelming. Service was great.

Not much on the menu. Definitely don't come here if you want authentic Japanese food. They don't have any. Extremely overpriced. Best for people who wanna pretend they like Asian food but essentially just wanna party and drink. Don't come with kids. There are no kid-friendly dishes. Not even a changing table in the restroom.

Seafood was fresh. Rolls looked underwhelming. Order and ate Hamachi, which was excellent. Service was poor and the sense of urgency was low. Didn’t greet us to the table felt very robotic and disingenuous. Hard pass for me on the next go around.

The food was delicious and the hostess amazing! I'm not one to typically leave reviews, but our server at the bar was super rude. Barely acknowledged us and acted like we were a burden for asking questions. I would go back and sit at a table next time :)

Food was great + atmosphere was a little noisy but perfect for downtown where it drowns out the noise of the city as well as the people around you, almost making it more intimate and private!

First time dining at Goma and having dined many times at Dante's other sushi restaurant Ginko I was really disappointed in the service and sushi. The person who sat my partner and I was super nice and attentive, we had a reservation and walked right to our seats at the sushi bar immediately upon arrival. After that things started a steady decline. The service was noticeably slow. We ordered a bottle of sake and it took at least 30 minutes to arrive, the sushi also moved at a glacial pace and lacked flavor. Overall not worth it. Go to Ginko.

Went for dinner this weekend and every single thing was delicious. The tuna tartare is an absolute must and was one of the best I’ve ever had. So cute inside too. Can’t wait to go again. Large menu something for

The worst Japanese food I’ve ever had, and this is not an exaggeration. The fish in the goma roll I ordered did not taste fresh and was very bland. The oyakodon came entirely burnt; the chicken in it was literally black and there was no flavor other than char. They did remake it for me when I asked though. The second serving tasted much better, though I still don’t think it was worth the price. My friend had the ramen, whose broth and pork were also extremely bland (the broth tasted like water). She had to dump a lot of soy sauce into it to get some semblance of flavor, but at least the noodles themselves (texture-wise) were okay. I have had better cup ramen than the ramen from this restaurant, which is astounding when the cup ramen is 3 dollars and the ramen here is 18. In terms of the positive experiences here, the tuna tartare and salmon sashimi were good, and the shrimp tempura was alright, though not worth its exorbitant price. The decorations and atmosphere were really nice; it definitely looked high-end. This restaurant is not cheap, which makes it all the more disappointing how bad the food was. Asian food options in Cleveland are limited, but I’d suggest taking the trip to Asiatown for a much better and cheaper dining experience. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
