I love this place so much. Service is typically good. It has a cool feel to it. Atmosphere is like a restaurant in Fort Worth I loved.

The best anniversary dinner in 32 years!! From the moment we walked in the door, the staff made us feel special. Our table was setup with an anniversary card, signed by their staff and rose petals on it. We were immediately greeted by our servers Shannon & Mark . Everything went as you would hope for when you go out for a nice meal. The service was outstanding and the food was excellent. The timing of everything was perfect, not too much or too little time between courses. The manager check in on us to make sure everything was to our liking. We finished the evening with a surprise complimentary dessert. Thank you Hyde Park for a memorable and loving evening amid this pandemic.

Wonderful and attentive staff, Rick our bartender was a delight! Our food was delicious and delivered timely. A very relaxed atmosphere even at lunch in the heart of downtown.

We were celebrating our anniversary - all of the staff went out of their way to make our dinner special. The steaks, sides and complimentary dessert were delicious! The filet melted in my mouth. We had potatoes, asparagus and mushrooms. Make sure you make a reservation - they get busy on weekend evenings.
food was great but came out very cold as if it sat on the counter for 20 minutes. service from walking in to table service to manager follow through was all not acceptable. if reception, servers, and manager had provided better service this would have been a top pick for me. hats off to the chef but the food was obiviously left on the counter for an unnecessarily long time. sorry to say i will not return because of the service and there are better options downtown but this this is highly disappointing to me because the food was great or best but you staff failed you and would not be an experience i would like to attend again. what kind of manager asks (do you want me to throw you a shrimp) when they serve you a cold meal.

I usually go to the Beachwood location. This was my first time at the Downtown one, and I really enjoyed it. Service was great, thanks to Tara. Food was very good, just wish it was a smidge lower in price, but the cost will not keep me away...My girlfriend and I had a great meal to start our evening out. Thanks!

Not just excellent steak, but creative touches for familiar entrees. Great shrimp, delicious lobster bisque, the best fries we've had in a long time, great wine list. Server Sarah was terrific.

Our reservation was for 5pm. The website indicates that the bar is open at 4:30pm so we arrived at 4:45pm to have a drink before dinner. The door was locked & someone inside said the manager needed to unlock the door with his key. We stood in the cold until exactly 5pm when the manager, dressed in jeans & long sleeved T-Shirt unlocked the door with a glare. We booked through Open Table & the staff called us "walk ins". I reminded them that we did have reservations & did book through Open Table but apparently we were inconvenient "walk ins". We were seated by our server who did not tell us his name, did not tell us the specials & rushed us to order. We were finished eating before the table next to us had their meals & we were seated at the same time. This was a terrible experience. We usually go to Ruth's Chris but wanted to try something different. We will never go back to Hyde Park.
This is my fav steak house of all time. My server Sara is amazing. I come to Cleveland for health reasons and this is always my celebration stop... she never forgets me. Thank you for great food as well as amazing service.

I was less than impressed with both the food and the service. Our waitress was not very personable at all. My boyfriend's steak was not prepared the way he wanted it and because of that, even with them trying to fix it, he just couldn't eat it. Medium-well means not a bloody mess and it was just that. Side dishes were just ok. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Morton's is right across the street and Ruth's Chris is less than a mile away. I should've chose one of those. Live and learn.

We had a party of 14 for restaurant week. We had two servers, a female and male. The female said she was from the Akron location. Service was horrible. I don’t blame the female waiter, her male waiter was absolutely no help for her. It was like she was working by herself. The kitchen was slow. It took a while to get salads. After salads we waited a whole hour just to get food. My moms steak was overcooked and they did replace it but of course that took a while. Nothing was taken off her bill but he did offer her a order of shrimp cocktail. Restaurant week came with deserts at the end of the night we basically had to ask for them because they were not brought out. It was a very bad experience and I would probably never go back. I will probably go back across the street to Morton’s.

Our service was not up to par with what you would expect from Hyde Park. The table was missing silverware. We had to ask to get our drinks refilled. The sides did not come out until we were almost completely done with our meal.

Food at Hyde park is always delicious. They serve the best steaks out there. My boyfriend and I went for restaurant week and we were not disappointed. My boyfriend loves the Smokey old fashioned there. The only complaint we had is that it took a while for him to get an ice cube for his drink. Otherwise everything was great!
