Experience was great!!! My food was delicious and can't wait to go back . I went in a tried a oxtail bowl and mmm mmm mmm! Can you say SMACK! Omgosh! They sauce different too... not so dark. My friend got the half and half box with jerk chicken / curry chicken! He loved his and said the spices weren't extremely hot! The cabbage is just really steamed cabbage, it's not made like Jamaican cabbage with the peppers and carrots in it. But other than that, my food was on point, and prices are very reasonable for the amount you get. I'm so glad I got a chance to try them out cause I'm hooked now lol

Friendly staff who provided some good suggestionsThe cubed jerk chicken that comes in jerk chicken boxes had a nice level of spice, but definitely needed more sauce. There is the option of ordering bone-in jerk chicken for an upcharge and that may be closer to the real deal.Plantains and cabbage were tasty, as was the rice the chicken came on top of. Cornbread was decent. Portions were generous for the price which was really nice and it was a nice hearty meal after a busy day.Atmosphere was informal, friendly, and welcoming like most other Caribbean restaurants.

I'm not exaggerating when I say this is my favorite food in Cleveland. I get the Jerk Chicken Bowl. Employees are always attentive and efficient. Great portions for very reasonable prices (at least if you get chicken). I'm sure the other meat options are worth the extra money though!

Friday December 15, 2023 around 5-6pmAfter a long hard day, my Jamaican boyfriend and I decided to grab a bite to eat. Upon entry, As we approach the food assembly, the food service girl (young lady with glasses) had a nasty attitude. No smiling, didn’t assist us on picking a meal as we decided, scowling, rolled her eyes Everytime my boyfriend said something (Jamaican accent), kept sighing. I mean her attitude was horrible. Lacked customer service 100%. Meanwhile, waiting on my Rasta Pasta, as she tells me the wait time (5-10min), as if she wanted me to change my mind, I obliged. Time goes, order other food. So my pasta comes out and she puts on it a protein I NEVER MENTIONED. Oh, that pissed her off. She was really huffing and puffing. She argued with me stating that’s what I chose. I’m smiling at her telling her to calm down, why are you being mean, where’s the customer service. I took the order plus the meat i wanted because she intimidated me in a way. I’m presuming because she got the order wrong and that they would have to remake the order. Then she got the cook in the back for whatever odd reason. My boyfriend paid for her mistake plus some. The cashier was super professional and smiled the entire time. The cook that was hiding in the back was professional and kind. But that wicked likkle gal in the food assembly line needs a reality check. Treat customers kind. Never bring your bad day to your place of employment. Will I come back? Hell naw! As long as the girl is assembling the food, I’ll go to another yard that appreciates my money!
