We always go out of our way to get food from this location. Everything is always made to perfection. We’ve tried different items on their menu and they never disappoint. Soooo delicious-

Food is really good and cheaply priced. I've been there 3 times so far, they do not disappoint.

Although not necessarily as heavenly as other Krispy Krunchy outlets I've been, to this still a dependable place for inexpensive heaps of fried chicken and biscuits. I'm guessing timing makes a big difference - that is, coming here just when a fresh batch has been fried. Otherwise, when you stop in, you'll see heaps and heaps of ready-made chicken sitting there under heat lamps. In my case, the chicken tenders were just a tad too crunchy on the outside and not as juicy on the inside as I've seen from other Krispy Krunchy outlets. Similarly, the biscuit was a bit crunchy and not as soft and fluffy as I'd expect. Nevertheless, it was all still warm, reasonably tasty, and reasonably inexpensive. Gets the job done when you need a decent fried chicken fix - fast.

I can't explain this place. It is inside a gas station in a really run down part of town where I've entered multiple times now and seen everything from stimulant-addled druggies professing their love for the cooks to a man literally standing up front and then at one of the register windows using both hands to roll a blunt! The cashier whispered that he should say it is CBD-only flower to avoid getting anyone in trouble...yikes. Anyways, if you can temporarily ignore the total circus environment this place is in then you will experience the best fried chicken and biscuits I've ever had in my life. That's right- out of all of the myriad fried poultry and biscuits from sit down to drive through I've had in my 28 years, this gas station stuff is THE BEST. I've gone three days in a row now and I'm hooked. The thighs and legs are $1.79 ($1.75?) each and the breasts are $2.79 per. Each piece is crispy, crunchy, and hot yet super juicy! Nothing dry here ever. The barbecue sauce is a horrific pinkish red concoction of what must be some sort of depot barbecue sauce tainted with hot sauce and should be avoided at all costs. The biscuits come in honey butter coated regular flavor or glazed blueberry. I normally avoid biscuits and cornbread and the like in general because they always just seem to serve no purpose other than to dry my mouth out and crumble all over everything. These biscuits are DIVINE. They have a slightly crispy outer surface with not moist yet not at all dry interior and are covered in a most sinfully delicious honey butter glaze. They are absolutely ungodly good. The banana pudding in a nearby grab and go cooler is inexplicably $3.99 which is too expensive for a small container even thought it is a nice texture and taste owing to cream cheese in the ingredient list. The cake slices are large and for the same price aren't bad- not dry but not as moist as I'd like either although frosting isn't skimpy. The $1.99 cheesecake slices are to be forgotten. I wrestled with whether to let the cat out of the bag in sharing this gem in the ghetto, but it truly is worth all the business it gets and much more.

What if I told you some of the best fried chicken I've had locally came from a gas station? I know what you're thinking, but it's true! This chicken was moist, seasoned well and had an exceptionally crunchy crust. It was cheap, too! Have you ever felt like eating fried chicken at 9am? You can do that here. Want some delicious honey drenched biscuits to go along with it? You can get those here, too. The menu is extensive, with dark or white meat, sandwiches, tenders, plenty of side options and other fried goods, so there's sure to be something for everybody. This would be a great place to pick up a quick dinner on your way home or for bringing to outdoor events with family and friends. Sometimes you just need some comfort food and KKC would be great for that! I had seen some west coast Yelpers posting good things about this chain lately, so decided to seek out the closest location to me. So glad I took the initiative! This along with the infamous Sunoco hummus in Cleveland has shown me that not all gas station food is inedible and that it can even be tasty, too. Maybe not so great for my waistline, but you know.
