Food was amazing. I took my girl there on a Thursday. There was someone playing the piano so that was nice. She loved the food. I had the short rib and it was cooked to perfection. Really enjoy myself. Food was great and service was excellent. Definitely going again.

We just tried the brunch at Nighttown for the first time and it was incredible. The service is always incredible- attentive servers and very kind. I got the short dish and the everything charcuterie board and we all enjoyed it. It had a mix of sweet and savory meats and cheeses, and some pastries. Such good flavors, neatness tender and the egg was cooked perfectly. Great job team Nighttown!

We had a delicious dinner in a wonderful small, intimate room. Our server was excellent. Can’t wait to go back!

For aficionados of the original , keep it in your memory and stay away ...Nice job on the renovation ...Food was overpriced and 2 entrees uneaten4 bucks for 3 small pieces of bread and we were a party of 4 , soup very good but ramekin sized ... burgers at 18 bucks overpowered by too strong mustard ... Friesjust ok ... seated at a table that would have been small as a two top ..Service was meh...No musical entertainment on a Sat nite ...I'd bet if mngt doesn't do a quick turn around there will be a vacancy sign in the window in less than 2 yrsI NEVER write reviews but felt compelled as this was beyond disappointing ...

The food was superb. This place is great for date night with live music and great art work. We had the muscles and tempura cauliflower for an appetizer and the Dublin Lawyer for dinner. This was the best meals I’ve had in a very long time. There were great vegetarian options, full service bar and reservations were no hassle. If you’re looking for great experience, I highly recommend.

To say I was excited to check out Nighttown would be a complete understatement. However, it was underwhelming in pretty much every way possible.I’ll start with the only good part. Their French Onion soup was delicious and the best I have found in Cleveland. Other than that, it was not a good experience. We went on a Saturday evening around 8pm looking forward to live music and there was not any music. The main area where we were seated was incredibly loud the entire time. The thing that was the most upsetting was that we ordered the Brie with focaccia appetizer. The focaccia came out completely charred from being grilled and also the Brie wheel had big grill marks too. (Refer to photo and peep the bread!) We asked for some more focaccia that was not charred to the point of being inedible so we could try to enjoy our appetizer. Our server brought out just plain bread and then when we got our bill had charged us $3 for said extra bread. The shrimp scampi came out cold. The whole meal felt rushed, our server was not attentive, the food (except the French onion soup) was lackluster and the ambiance was loud and unappealing. We will not be returning.

My husband and I enjoyed cocktails and appetizers at Brendan's Bar in this beloved, newly reopened hot spot. While a little of the Irish pub aspect has been erased (no Powers), it's still a true gem. It was delightful and we'll be back.

Charred some of our bread and then proceeded to charge us an extra $3 for non-charred bread. Half the food was cold, but glad we didn’t ask for it to be reheated — probably would have added a $10 reheating fee. Waiter was non existent and didn’t refill drinks, but was quick to get us the check. Doesn’t live up to the hype.

I heard a lot of hype about Nighttown so I decided to take my family members when they were in town from New Zealand. The atmosphere was great but we were seated At a table that didn't really fit the booth it was placed at and was way too big for our group of five. The server was weirdly aggressive. Technically, the service was good but definitely wasn't very welcoming. After receiving our entrees, the front of house manager approached our table to ask how our food was then rudely accosted my step mother for not answering right away (her mouth was full of food). The food was delicious. We had appetizers entrees and dessert; it was all great. When we went to pay, they had added a 20% gratuity, which seemed pretty tacky for a 5 top.Overall, despite the great food and beautiful space, it was an embarrassing experience because the service was so rude. I've eaten at nice restaurants all over the world and have never been treated that way at an establishment of that supposed caliber.I doubt I'll go back and definitely will not bring out of town guests there again.

I really wish they didn't keep the name Nighttown. If it's called Nighttown we are going to draw comparisons. We were regulars for 20+ years and had our wedding there. So much of the charm and ambiance is gone. And it's SO stark and so few tables. Music was on but could barely hear it. Awkward vibe. Staff is super friendly and server was attentive. Kitchen service was very slow even with the dining room quite empty.I went for two things. A pint and french onion soup. They were perfect. Our salads were very overdressed and very heavy handed in vinegar. Salads deterred us from trying an entree. Desserts were nice. The black current was well done. It's very expensive for what it is. (Soup salad 2 pints dessert tip cost 75$ for 1 person)I missed the shoulder to shoulder crowds and the pub styled food. (Especially the meatloaf)I will be back for a pint and french onion though. Hopefully the charm makes it way back.

Waited over 30 minutes for cocktails. Was offered (store bought like) baguette while we waited, and then charged for it. (Just put a $1 on entrees and offer to all). Dublin Lawyer - excellent entree, great wine list. Appears management and staffing may hold them back from being a 5 star.

Very crowded and loudWe ordered and twice the waiter came back saying one of the items we ordered was out! Took forever to get served and finally 3/4 meals came and 15 min later the 4th arrived.Time for dessert after we ordered two different items only to have the waiter come and say their out twice!

Went here with a few of my friends and it was such a let down. The lighting was too harsh and bright, I would suggest a warmer and moodier light. It would fit the vibe of the place much better. The food was fair but overpriced and not worth the price tag attached. I hope to see improvements in the future and hopefully can try it again.
