This is the kind of gem of a place that you want to see do well but you also want to keep it to yourself. So please do(n't) go here. You'll likely feel too welcomed, enjoy your food too much, and marvel at how an egg sandwich is really only $4... in this economy?? I'm not sure you can handle it. Probably best to stay home.Parking: Usually plenty of street parking when you're not competing with Cleveland Bagel peak hours

I did a double take at the handwritten cardboard sign in the front window of Opa Gr., ‘Fresh Greek Honey Donuts’. “You make loukoumades?” I asked Paul Papas, owner and welcoming figure who guided me into this adorable, unassuming space filled with Greek icons. “The best you’ve ever had!” he replied, welcoming me to have a seat. He was right. We spoke the whole time while Mr Papas carefully spooned the loukoumades batter, explaining his process for making light, airy Greek donuts, later dredged in honey sauce, then sprinkled with freshly ground walnuts. It wasn’t only about the loukoumades. I learned a great deal from Paul about freezing dill for tzatziki sauce (it crumbles better) to a lovely story about basil. I am looking very forward to returning to this quaint little restaurant!

We only stopped by because Paul waved to us as we were parking across the street and like we were enchanted by him immediately. We got the Greek donuts with honey and walnuts and one order with chocolate sauce on top. WOW. The dough tastes great, we got them fresh, he’s literally a gem. Can’t wait to come back to try his breakfast sandwich and his souvlaki. Thank you Paul, what a great way to start our day.

Fantastic food from a very courteous owner! I didn't realize that the place was primarily take-out until we arrived but the owner welcomed us and made space for us to sit down and eat inside. I was truly impressed how he went out of his way to take care of us and provide a nice treat for my kids. If you're in the mood for some excellent Greek delights, stop by!

We got the gyros which was delicious. The service was great. Friendly and fast definitely will be coming back again.
Owner was extremely friendly and his service was great. We didn’t realize they were way past closed until we were leaving and saw the hours but he nothing but nice to us. (Hate being those people so we appreciate that!) The food is amazing. The Greek Salad definitely had garden grown cucumbers and tomatoes in it. We will be back. :)Vegetarian options: Greek Salad with feta cheese

You’ve seen this place from the Shoreway and thought “wait is there a restaurant in that house?” Yes! (Sorta).If you haven’t been yet you’re missing out. Just had a top notch affordable breakfast sandwich, and the owner/cook is incredibly friendly. Will be back soon. Takeout only but there are some nice benches and chairs set up outside.Vegetarian options: The sandwhich was still great even without bacon
