I have been a loyal customer for many years until today. The woman at the West Side Market location literally wouldn’t serve me because I was on the wrong side of the counter waiting in line. The other people actually said “she was here before me” and she still wouldn’t serve me!!!!! And was rude about it as well!!! We were going to get 9 cabbage rolls and 2 dozen pierogi. I WILL NEVER BE BACK! We spend at least $35 a week there. Do the math. You just lost a great customer.

Huge, delicious pierogi in any flavor you can imagine. Savory options as well as sweet. Normally this stand is very busy so be patient. It's well worth the wait. The owner is personable and kind and recommended I try the potato o'brien flavor when she was all sold out of my favorite flavor and now potato o'brien is hands down my favorite. It takes me about an hour to get to the west side market and again, these are well worth the wait.

I've had and made a lot of pierogies and these are by far the best around. It's no wonder though, with the quality of the amazingly patient and friendly owner. My wife and I decided to play Pierogie Roulette and get a dozen mixed of their top sellers and cook them all together. Everybody won.

We stopped by the market on our way home from a weekend in the city and this time remembered to bring a cooler! These pierogies called my name and the woman working the stand couldn't have been sweeter. I ordered 6 loaded bake potato and she only had 2 so she gave me those along with an additional 6 bacon/cheese and then gave me potato pancakes I didn't even order. She explained best way to heat and eat them as well.

Would not know if any good or not. Went out of our way to get there only to find it closed 2 and half hours early.

I'm not sure what's up with these reviews, but this place has given me the best service and easily the best pierogies I've ever tasted.

Best pierogi hands down! Great service, easy to work with & the food is fantastic!

Worst pierogies ever. I grew up in a predominantly Ukrainian neighborhood. The ladies making them at the churches would have kicked the person crimping these out the door. VERY thick ropes of hard dough around edges and remaining rope end tucked under pierogy for another big blob of hard dough. Filling o.k. but all in all really bad.

Place doesn’t look like much but food is amazing and great price.

Because we live nearly 90minutes away, I placed an order of pierogis on Saturday for us to pick up on Wednesday. Our order was completely botched. When I called the main store, manager/owner just shrugged off my complaint.Very disappointed.

Would be better if they had sweet cheese ones.
