We go here every single time we visit Cleveland. Great food and wonderful atmosphere. Walking distance from the Kimpton!Vegetarian options: Easy to eat here as a vegan.

I saw this place when on a bus passing by. So I looked them up on line and saw their menu had vegan options. So me being vegan, I couldn't wait for opportunity to go in and try. I went on one occasion they were closed. I checked out their hours of operation and then went while open. SADLY TO SAY, WHEN I GOT THERE THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY VEGAN OPTIONS AT ALL I WAS TOLD. I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED. I feel when restaurants no longer have items in their facility, they need to change the on line menu as well as the in place menu. That's misleading. FALSE ADVERTISING!! Will not go back

Staff is always nice even when they have a full house. There was fast, efficient, and courteous service. Kinda of like a cafe in Phoenix that I enjoyed.

My work had a private dinner here and it was very nice. Very good selection of healthy food that has many options for all dietary needs. Great space to have group meals after restraunt is closed.

I love love love this place for a fine dining vegetarian options. Okay I call it fine dining because it is pricey as I think $11 for the wonderful veggie Mac reminiscent of the Big Mac is expensive sandwich only. But it is good. I ordered it several times this summer while working downtown. Many other things I wanted to try but I got stuck on that meal and the mushroom appetizer. I never dined in but the service was great for takeout. Nice staff.

I think because of how frequently people talk about this place, I expected something amazing or at least out of the ordinary. It's not that. It's a very good, New-ish American lunch spot. The stuff on the menu wasn't too creative, but everything we had was at least average and in most cases well above average. Several folks had the African Peanut Stew, which was probably the best thing we had. A little bit too thick, but extremely flavorful and hearty. The peanut wasn't overpowering. (One downside: they brought out some folks' soups well before others'.) We all had different entrees, but I had the special of the day (a short rib sandwich with a dipping sauce) and it was very nice, reasonably priced at $15. It's not too expensive overall, so I would probably come back.

Love it. Best ever Veggie Mac and African Peanut nut soup plus few other items I have tried here. How do I know for sure. l have tried only 100 other restaurants around. The secret for a generally good restaurant is look at their vegan/vegetarian options. If they have a good selection all their food has to simply outstanding.

Our top repeat go-to restaurant in downtown Cleveland for birthday dinners, anniversaries, etc. Excellent food, presentation, sophisticated and sensual atmosphere/ambiance, accommodating and courteous service. If you’re a “foodie” like us, you won’t be disappointed! My only complaint is their current dinner hours (they close at 9 pm!).

We stopped at Pura Vida after a long day flying into town and getting settled. The food was great with plenty of vegan and gluten free options. I had a salad and my friend had fish tacos. The food tasted very fresh! It was a little noisy and difficult to hear but we were too busy eating the delicious food and had no time to talk. Service was great too! I would highly recommend.

I just left and walked 10 min there and back. I should have checked my bag but I ordered collard greens. Veggie burger and mushrooms and didnt get my collard greens and instead recieved fries. I get to my hotel and I have fries. Bc I walked so long and have to leave in an hour I cant walk back. I'm super annoyed by this. I tried to call. It just rang and rang then hung up on me. Let's add to the deck that I tipped the hostess and paid a good deal of money on this place .. just noticed I never got my receipt either.... other than that the food I ordered was good

This was my first time going here; I usually like to go somewhere twice before Yelping about it, but meh. The server was really personable and nice to our party, and there was nothing terribly wrong with that part of the meal per se, it's just that everything was so slooooow. I watched the restaurant go from a few tables to slightly more tables, but there was no increase in urgency in any of the staff. Food took forever, drink orders took forever, checks took forever, getting checks BACK took forever. Food is OK. I had a bunless burger and some grilled asparagus--a weirdly measly size for a side that price. Speaking of price: I have no problem paying any amount of money for a meal, but the higher the price goes the higher my expectations rise. This food didn't meet my expectations. I left the restaurant a half an hour later than I expected and only half satisfied.
