It pains me to say it, but someone who works there told me they will be closed down as of Monday October 18. It's a shame since this place has the best of everything about a late night restaurant. Hearty dinners, a wide variety of menu choices, great staff, you name it. I'm told they hope to reopen in the building across the street in or within a year. I'm so saddened by this. Apparently it's out of their hands since they don't own the building they are/were in :/

Ordered a pastrami rubin and fresh with Pepsi and it was almost 30.00 dollars. I went in alone after 2 am and I had to wait over a half hour for a table. People that had more then 1 person got seated first. The waitress that help me was white with red glasses. She was very rude and didn't care about me, I guess because I was by myself. What she didn't realize is that I am a veteran that retired from the U.S. Navy and I well never go in there again, even though I gave her a 4.00 tip. She never even brought me my check and I had to ask the manager for one. I believe I was over charged and never got the service I should have.

Support your local diner/restaurant, especially during these difficult, challenging times! Not only do these places help feed the communities they are in (often at affordable, much better prices than the ripoff 'chains'), they also provide thousands of jobs for locals that need to put food on the table for their families. That said, Rubin's is a Cleveland staple for many years now. The menu is extensive, but not expensive, and portions are good. The servers are 'old school' savvy, friendly, and hard working too. Just heard Rubin's is closing for a couple of months in order to renovate and move across the street. Will have to now go to my other fave diners like Joe's, George's, and Blue Sky, until Rubin's re-opens.

Omg! After everything I've just gone through Rubin' S Family Restaurant was such a treat. A real home cooked meal was so comforting. And the price was a very nice welcome to Cleveland. Thank you!

Best burger I've had ina very long time. Cooked just right, just enough bacon. The burger itself was huge, and I ate every last bite. I will be back. Thank you so much.
Found hair in my food and I tried to let them know by calling them and they kept putting me on hold and wouldn’t even let me get a word out before they kept saying one moment and put me on hold for two calls that was about a 40 minute wait all together just to see if somebody would talk to me. I tried calling a third time hoping that maybe they’re busy and they weren’t realizing that I was still sitting on the phone. They chose to ignore my calls after that 3 try. Not only was my food cold and soggy they also forgot the condiments to my order but I’m at work and can’t leave considering I work 3rd shift. It was two hours after I ordered my food that I received it. Not only was the experience horrible it made me feel disregarded and as if I was bothering them even though I purchased the food. I don’t recommend because I don’t think anyone wants to feel the way I did it’s not worth it.

Food is good and comes out pretty quickly! It's a 24 hour place that has pies in the front that you can buy by the slice or whole. The menu has a lot of burgers, corned beef, and some other items. The one server (her name is Angie) Is one of the main reasons we always go after 9pm! She does very well!
