I’m giving two starts because the food is good but the person that answered the phone today was rude. No I did not purchase anything because why would I purchase from a place with terrible phone Etiquette. I had ordered my food then once I was finished he asked for a card number. I then told him very nicely that I’ll be paying with cash. He then responded with your not getting anything unless you pay now. I then said well excuse me , still in a nice manner. I just decided no matter how good a restaurants food may be they still should have better communication. I will no longer ever return to this place and I will let many people know not go here.

Best meal in Cleveland. Just had regular fried chicken, baked beans and greens n rice. Better than Popeyes and KFC combined. Biscuits better than any in the city. Everything cooked to order. Prices are cheap as well. Hands down best souls food in Cleveland. I just tried to call and tell the man there everything I just typed. Treat yourself.

Been going for years. No frills takeout. Really delicious. Quality is great. Try different things. I always go there to order. I see all sorts of comments about the phone and stuff. When I go, they are fine and nice and the food is good. There is a wait, fresh cooked. So just plan ahead, don't be a jerk, and enjoy one of the best fried chicken meals you can get around here.

Chicken is absolutely delicious. Phone etiquette is horrible. Rude man answered the phone when I tried to place a catering order so I decided not to order at all. Why spend my money with someone who doesn't know how to talk to people.
The menu on the ir website is not updated, they don't make everything on that menu, that menu also highly encourages you to call ahead, but that's a joke, I'm not sure if it's a staffing issue or what have you, it would take 20 minutes of calling back to back to finally get an answer.

If you like fried food, this is a place to visit!! The fried chicken is some of the best I have had in CLE and they have different batters to choose from. The onion rings are actually sweet although the batter fell off, but they tasted pretty good. Those biscuits!!! OMG! If I was addicted to bread, I would spend some serious $$ on those biscuits! Next time we will try some fish and a different batter for the chicken. There is A LOT to choose from. Sorry, no pictures, it was too good I didn't take the time. Next time though!

Good things come to those who wait. You're told up front about the wait but don't let that deter you. Chicken is hot, crispy, seasoned perfectly and delicious. Honey Biscuits are a MUST. Can't wait for my next visit to try more.

Food is good. Hours suck. Especially if you get off after 7. So plan ahead if really want them. Call ahead any way cause the wait can be long. Also. Order by 6:30. I think that's their last take in. It's close but sucks when it's summer and they close up so early.
