It's a very basic and typical bar/food. There is nothing on the menu that is special or their own creation. The beer selection is very nice, and the different types are impressive. What I found mind-boggling is that the kitchen closes at 9pm even if there is a game or a special event in town. They don't even keep the fryers open. I got there at 850, and they refused to sit me, my group, and the other 15 people wanting to come in. So we had to order to go. Once I got my to go, I went to the bar to have some beers and asked if I could eat my food with my beers. The bartender said yes. What was the difference? Idk. Whoever is running this "tavern" is brilliant.

I loved my burger AND FRIES. Everything came out hot. The fries were one of the best steak fries I’ve had - so few places seem to get crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside right. Was just so surprised by how good this food was- definitely worth the walk from the R&R Hall of Fame.

As always, great beer options. Buffalo chicken wrap and fries is a great choice! Good place to go before a sporting event.

Highly recommend. Great food. Reasonable prices. AMAZING STAFF. Anna and Emily were fantastic behind the bar. It was the Eclipse/Final Four/Baseball home opener in town... at the same time! Just utter pandemonium for any city: but not for these ladies. Cool. Calm. Collected. Just so warm, friendly, fast and attentive with every guest. We really felt special thanks to them. Thank you ladies for just being you. You set a high bar for hospitality, and one that may not soon be met by others.

The first two days in Cleveland we struggled with restraunts. The food was OK to good, but the wait times after ordering were around 45 minutes or more. It was so consisted we thought it was a Cleveland thing. We finally tried Winking Lizard and were very impressed. The service from our waitress was immaculate. She took our orders quickly, accurately and was funny and entertaining. The kitchen had our food out fast and it was delicious. An amazing little venue for food. We look forward to going back before we head home. Thanks!
Food was good and portions were generous. Service was friendly but slow. Apps arrived with the main course which was a bummer. Otherwise great place with an amazing selection of beers.

I LOVED Winking Lizard. I was in Cleveland for 5 nights/6 days and went there twice. The beer was great (Weihenstephen Hefe and a Collision Bend), the service was excellent, and the deluxe pizza was absolutely delicious - no skimping on topping for this place!!! It was a short and safe walk from my hotel. I want pizza like this in Tampa!
