I always shy away from a Belleria. However I live in walking distance to this location so on a whim we tried it. First it was wing night… It was super busy. We sat at the bar.. shout out to Emily our bartender she was on it! Gave us suggestions and they were on point. We got the wings.. a dozen spicy garlic extra crispy and they were amazing. We also got the old world pizza (Briar Hill) as it was the best I’ve ever had. We got the pizza roll based on Emily’s suggestions and it was SO good. And we got a meat lovers pizza which was equally as amazing. I got a beer and my husband got a cocktail also good! The rest of the staff were amazing. I’m so excited this is in my backyard of Old Saybrook and highly recommend. Not only top notch food but service and beautiful location. A MUST try!
Very slow service very cold in the restaurant we came in around 8 PM and our food wasn’t even warm it was lukewarm very salty and then we were waiting for him to come back with the check and he finally came out after we went up to the register and we heard him say OK come on let’s get this place cleaned up so I can go home and watch the game come on really if you’re going to be open to the public at least act like you’re happy and serve all of your food items hot delicious food restaurant has gone downhill big time I realize that these are younger age kids public college aged but they need to take seriously everything that they do and that means even if you’re getting ready to close hurry up and get your guests in and out no you serve them just like when you open your door for the day so no we will never be back if they can’t serve hot delicious food with personable service and make us in a friendly manner then no and the food that you get is not worth the money that you pay and I would not recommend it to anybody at this location to go especially after the Columbiana Street fair parade it was very very very cold in the restaurant!

Usually friendly service, I'm not sure if the waitress was having an off day but I sat for 15 minutes before I was even asked if I was waiting on anyone or wanted a drink. I ordered an appetizer and it took 20 minutes. 3 couples who came in after me have already been served. I told her I wanted to order and she disappeared. I asked on the status of my appetizer when she reappeared and she said that takes 10 minutes. I said okay, it was at least 15 minutes ago. So far I've been here at least 35 minutes and have just ordered my pizza at 2:08pm. My pizza didn't arrive until 2:32 . The food is good but the service certainly doesn't match. I think in the future we will frequent another location.
