Outstanding isn’t a strong enough word for the food and service. Incredible experience and likely the best dining experience that I’ve ever had in Columbus. Only complaint was the temperature in the restaurant. We were freezing for the entire two hours that we were in there.

Surreal and very enjoyable experience. First tasting menu restaurant for me and siblings. The ride you go on with each bite is either revisiting past forgotten flavors or creating new memory because of the new sensations swirling on your palate. They served 6 abundant courses with little surprise dishes sewed in between. Every single course was delicious and cooked with precision. My favorite was the first course, Chatt. Maque Choux, Onsen Egg (runny yolk), Spinach, Crema and Apple. Unbelievable textures and flavor contrasts in that one. It was a very new and interesting fusion of foods and was pretty memorable for my sister's birthday. Both sibs were too full by course 5. Staff were observant and timely. Might be a one time a year kind of place for us!

From the moment we stepped into Agni, we embarked on a culinary journey that tantalized our taste buds and warmed our hearts. That started even before we sat down. Because it was cold outside, we were offered a shot-sized hot orange ginger mint tea to warm us up. It was outstanding and a foreshadowing of what was to come. The six-course tasting menu, interspersed with delightful snacks, was nothing short of a masterpiece. Each dish was a creative, showcasing the chef’s ingenuity and passion for flavor. Many dishes were also plays on experience's that the chef had going up which was part of the explanation as the dishes came to the table. The service at Agni was impeccable. The staff’s attention to detail and genuine care for our dining experience shone through in every interaction. They gracefully accommodated our preferences, swapping out dishes to suit our protein choices without hesitation. They told us stories about the dishes that explained why some choices were made which added to the charm of the evening. It is hard to pick a favorite, but I'd have to say the dumplings were out of this world flavorful. While I am not usually one to pick lamb from the menu, I was blown away by the amazing flavor and tenderness the dish had. The pescatarian dumpling was equally amazing. There was not one bite that didn't surprise me in flavor or texture. One of the snacks, a "French fry" which had a Chinese 5-spice meat chili over top is something I would come back for again and again. Well, to be honest most of the menu would fall into that category! We chose the cocktail menu for drinks, which were equally delicious. Since neither of us drink wine, this was a perfect option, however it appears they have an amazing wine selection!Celebrating my birthday at Agni was made even more special with their thoughtful touches. The birthday treat—a delectable chocolate cake paired with a ‘buckeye bite’—was the perfect end to an already perfect evening.Agni is not just a restaurant; it’s a destination for those who seek an extraordinary dining experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Agni to anyone looking for exceptional food and service in Columbus. A heartfelt thank you to the team for making my birthday celebration unforgettable.

Agni is a German Village neighborhood gem. My spouse and I went here this past weekend for our anniversary. We had a fabulous time - Alex and the rest of the staff were thoughtful and engaging and they really helped make the experience special for us. What I love about this place is that it is a perfect amount of food (filling but not overly satiating) - and it's all terrific! They had adifferent menus for vegetarians and pescatarians - both of which were excellent to us. If you are looking for something with truly unique favors and original tastes, this is the place to go. Wine and cocktails were very good also. I look forward to coming back for another delicious meal with a fine dining experience.

We had a great time at Agni.Pros - Service is great, food is creative and very tasty. Wine pairings went great with every course, pacing of the meal was just right. Overall a very unique experience with unique flavor combinations and a great story to go with itCons - For two to dine with the basic wine pairings starts at $420.00 - add in a few cocktails and an appetizer and tip and you are looking at a $700.00 night out for two which could go a long way at some other nice restaurants in town. We knew the price going in so we were find with that, but it does seem a little steep for what you get.

I read about this restaurant and saw their menu online, but it seemed they didn't offer any vegan options. So, I reached out to the restaurant, and they immediately replied, confirming they do offer a full vegetarian tasting menu that can be adapted for vegans. We decided to go, and wow, were we completely blown away! Words fall short to describe the culinary excellence, the careful consideration of flavors and textures, and the artistry and storytelling behind each dish. This is, without a doubt, Michelin-caliber dining. Every staff member we interacted with was knowledgeable and prepared to discuss the vegan menu. Approximately six different servers presented us with various courses, and each could thoroughly explain the vegan ingredients. We opted for the shared tasting menu, which was more than sufficient for two. In fact, we left overly full but blissfully satisfied. Without a doubt, this is the best restaurant in Columbus and ranks as one of the top dining experiences I've had worldwide.Vegetarian options: Full vegetarian menu and full vegan menu

I dined at Agni last night. From the moment we walked in the door we were encompassed in hospitality. Our waiter went above and beyond to make us comfortable and describe the components of each course. I absolutely loved the tasting menu and the surprises along the way. This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had and worth every penny. I did the vegetarian course and my companions did the main tasting menu. I felt like I was tasting complex flavor combinations that just intensified with each bite. Highly recommend going for your own special occasions.

Excellent! The best meal we’ve had in Columbus, and certainly competes with other tasting menus we’ve enjoyed while traveling internationally including Michelin star and recognized restaurants. The wine pairing enhances the experience, not just the cost. One mild dissatisfaction was related to trouble hearing the servers presentation in loud environment which they happily repeated and it was worth understanding. Also the flow of food was slightly rushed. neither of these significantly impacted our experience but these are better executed at some other high end restaurants.

We came here for our anniversary week. We got the 6 course meal. I cannot remember any of the names but I remember every dish. It was more like 12 courses and at first you think well that was kinda small. By the end you will be so full of some of the best food you've ever had. The waiters and waitresses know everything about the food and what drink pairs well with it. The bathroom itself is magical. Every dish was like in that movie Ratatouille when Anton Ego gets mindwarped to his childhood. I still dream about the taste of that Rohan Duck. Will definitely be trying their next menu.Dietary restrictions: They are willing to accomodate any dietary restrictions, but it is also a specific menu.Kid-friendliness: Do not bring your kids.

Ja-mazing! I went for happy hour on a Thursday night. Agni has a qauint, cozy atmosphere. We sat at the bar and had the best experience. The food was fantastic. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about each dish. This wasn't just great food- it was a pleasant experience. I'll be back. Also, the pistachio dessert. The ending is spectacular. The most action in a small bite!?!?

I would rate Agni higher if Google allowed. Atmosphere was comfortable and fun, not as tight as other fine dining/tasting restaurants we have been to. Food and service were both extraordinary. The chefs and service staff have massive skill. Dishes and flavors were filling and unique. The wine pairings were spot on. We didn't want to leave. Not a single complaint other than I wish my financial means could allow me to go back weekly.
