This place is up there for one of the best meals I have ever had in my life. We visited Ohio and were told to give this a try and so we did. I normally take pictures of my food and I am SO sad that I didn’t on this night. I simply enjoyed every single bite. The drinks/cocktails were amazing. Our waitress was incredibly nice. She made amazing drinks and she also gave us some other recommendations in town to go drink at. Thank you for making a memory I will never forget.

Our server was fantastic and the drinks were really good, we just stopped in to kill time before a ShadowBox show. We looked at the menu as well and the food looked interesting so we will be back to check it out!

Go here. We've spent 4 days in Columbus doing all the things, and the authentic food and service at Arepazo was stellar. Jill took care of the entire family, offered recommendations, and is so passionate about this menu, she sold us on several items that were to die for! As soon as we run out of cilantro sauce, we'll be back to see her.

The service here was really awkward from the moment we walked in. The host just showed us to our seats without saying anything we could hear, and the waitress was really pushy and overly comfortable with us. I planned to order wine, but when I did, waitress looked at me like I was crazy and asked if I wanted sangria instead. I laughed it off and said "no thank you" because the price was suspiciously unmarked, and I just didn't want it. (In fact, many things on the menu don't have listed prices.) She asked if I was sure, so I asked how much it was, which was at least $4 more than what I wanted. "No thank you." I order my wine. She comes back a few minutes later and says she got it down to the price of regular wine. This was sweet of her but also just not necessary or asked for? I ended up just getting it instead because she so strongly wanted me to try it. It was good but still just not what I was wanting and not outstanding at all. In addition to all this, I don't remember what was said, but the waitress laughed and touched our arms, like she knew us. We had been inside for a total of 10 minutes, so I don't think we were friends enough for that to be comfortable lol. Definitely wasn't for us. Anyway. The cilantro sauce is really good! It made my chicken arepa go from a 3/5 to a 4/5. I don't have much desire to come back, but if I did, I would buy a bottle of the cilantro sauce to go. Highly recommend! The spicy one is veryyy spicy - too much for me personally - so I'd recommend starting with the regular unless you're up for that. I don't remember the dish my partner got, but it was unbelievably salty due to the shredded beef. It was so salty we had to take half of it to go to eat with rice at home. Overall, just wasn't impressed by this trip and didn't have anything other than the sauce that would incline me to come back.

The food is what you’d expect from a South American Restaurant in the Midwest. What I’m mad about is the fact that they charged me a non-tipper fee. We had a 60$ check, so I passed the server my card and 15$ tip IN CASH. I literally handed it to her! Looked at my account this morning and they charged me over 70$. Service wasn’t even that good, nor was the food. Needless to say we won’t be going back.

One of my fav to eat Colombian and Venezuelan. Service is okay.... The Ambiance needs some improvement.

The empanadas were truly delicious. The arepas were tasty and a good size. I recommend the cilantro sauce- be aware the spicy version is incredibly spicy. I had been to the Gahanna location previously, which felt cramped. This location has much more space and I liked they layout. They had a unique space that can accommodate a large party. The atmosphere was lively without being overwhelmingly loud.Vegetarian options: Beans and cheese based dishes throughout the menu, clearly labeled as vegetarian.Parking: We paid for a parking garage a couple of blocks over. Finding cheaper parking would have been much more difficult. We are used to city parking so it wasn't a problem, but one in our party is not comfortable with city parking and found it more stressful.
