I had high expectations of the food and service here but it’s rather disappointing. I had a weekday breakfast buffet $16 since I was in a rush and did not want to wait for ala carte order but the variety is sad and the food is not warm. They only had a few hot food like scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon, hashbrown and pancakes. There are some fruits but other than that it’s not worth the money for the quality. Will not recommend the buffet breakfast

Great experience. I met up with some friends before the spring game at OSU. We were seated right away and it wasnt long before the waiter came and took our order. The food and drinks were exceptional as well as the ambiance. Just a good time overall, and it is right across the street from the stadium.

Great place to stay and the customer service was great!!!! I would highly recommend The Blackwell to others that will be traveling to Columbus for business and/or pleasure. It would be extremely pleasant for other Big Ten campus to have a hotel on their campus with high quality.

I stayed here for a business trip for two nights. It's a great location; on the OSU campus, very close to everything, and in view of the stadium. Parking garage is right down the street. Friendly and professional staff. The look and vibe is nice and the rooms are spacious.

Hosted our daughter’s wedding here! Fantastic Venue!! Wonderful service as far as the wedding & also the 3 day stay was fantastic!! They had thought of everything!! Clean, perfect location, everyone so kind!! Highly recommend for a wedding or just a stay in Columbus!

Overall very good for an older hotel and chose due to location. Wish there was more variety and ordering off a menu for breakfast items. Felt valet fee was a bit high in cost due to spring break week.

I attended some meetings at OSU and this hotel was very conveniently located. The hotel was exceptionally clean and very quite at night. Room was very comfortable. Absolutely no issues with my reservations and was actually offered an early check in. Highly recommend this hotel if you plan to visit the Columbus area.
