We have been here twice and both times the food and atmosphere were amazing! We had both of the flat breads and shared them. The buffalo chicken one was to die for! Their mozzarella sticks were 10/10! Highly recommend this bar.

Visited Columbus and searched a nearby place for lunch and decided on City Tavern based on location and reviews. We were not disappointed. I ordered the mushroom dip appetizer. Wow! Absolutely delish and unique. The side salad was nice and generously portioned with mixed greens and not cheap iceburg lettuce. My parents ordered the Italian sub, onion petals, wings, and apple pecan salad, and said they were very good too. Good variety of beer, and enjoyed the music. I also appreciated the phone charger station. Will definitely consider returning if back in the area.

Always great to find a local spot worth a great reputation and see them back it up. My family and I went there and enjoyed all of the food we ordered. The server/bartender was busy, but dinnerly held her own, keeping our table together, while not missing a beat with her other patrons. Pricing was also good, and is reasonable, especially for families.

Very good bar food. Everything is fresh to order and very well done. Beers are a bit pricey but they often have specials. Great atmosphere for sports watching.

Food is good but a bit overpriced. On top of that, they sneakily added a $1.00 "transaction fee" on top of the check.

Please update your hours. Friday night and kitchen online says it was opened until 12:00. Walked in at 11:20 and the kitchen was “closed”

First visit to the City Tavern. We ordered apps, sandwiches, flatbread, fries, salads and drinks. The food was excellent as was the service. We will stop here again on our next trip to Columbus.

Walked in and sat at the bar.. the bartender greeted us by saying "just so you know...that is one of our regulars seats and he will be coming in a little bit..so you shouldn't sit in his seat" Got up and walked out. No thank you. Will no be returning. This is not how you welcome a customer.

Was a nice spot. We came with some friends and some kids. The spicy chicken sandwich was amazing. The fries were good. The pretzels were good. The draft beer was also good. I would recommend!
