We have eaten here several times and the food and service are top notch! They have some flavorful selections that are unlike anything I've found at other Mexican restaurants.It looks like they gave a talented artist free reign on murals and painted patterns on walls and ceilings. The owners and staff obviously take a lot of pride in the quality of the food & overall experience. Highly recommend!

This is a newer Mexican restaurant north of Columbus in Minerva Park. The handmade corn tortillas absolutely MAKE their dishes! Everything we had was flavorful and the rice and beans are as tasty as I imagined. Camarones (shrimp) al grullense cames in a red house sauce with veggies. I was told this one would be spicy but I didn't think so. They brought over a hot sauce that was great though so I kept adding that. The birria de res was an interesting take... the meat was tender and flavorful but wish there was more of the juices for dipping. The chicken fajitas were the daily special so we got that as a starter to share haha We came with friends and this was a bit of a drive (25 min from downtown cbus) but I'm very glad we tried. The restaurant radiated colorful art and culture. Great value here with entrees around $16.

Delicious food. We were in town to watch the Buckeyes and saw this place was highly rated. It's a bit out of the way as far a as where we were staying, near the OSU campus, but well worth the drive out. You can tell the place is totally authentic Mexican food, the flavors were on point, everything including the tortillas were made fresh, and generous portions for great prices. Service was very friendly and prompt, we were also given complimentary guacamole (which was delicious). If I lived in Columbus I'd have a hard time not eating here every weekend. Highly, highly recommend, best Mexican food I've had in a very long time.
Great service and excellent food! We tried the Barria which was delicious and two shrimp dishes that were full of flavor. The Fresh tortillas cannot be beat. The flan and tres leches cake were both delicious and cravable. We will be back again!
Nicely stewed tender beef birria with handmade corn tortillas ($16). They offer flour tortillas but it’s not handmade. Complimentary chips and salsa. Will be returning for their other dishes.
