First time visiting today! I got a latte and their breakfast burrito to go.Latte - 8/10 for taste! I would’ve liked it to be a bit hotter. I’ll remember to ask for it extra hot next time :)Burrito - didn’t think it would be so large! it was quite tasty to say the least. 10/10.Service - 10/10! I was greeted as soon as I opened the door, the woman working the front counter today was friendly & patient.Long story short, I will definitely be back again soon!

Waking up to a coffee shop within walking distance of your Airbnb is always a great start to your morning. We walked to Emmett's for a coffee to-go and weren't disappointed. The inside was small and a perfect place to catch up with a friend, grab a coffee and go, or just sit and relax. I got the "Smooth as Butta" latte and it was perfect! My only complaint is that they don't offer almond milk, oat and whole. Otherwise, service was great and the coffee was also great!

This is a seemingly popular café that serves up sandwiches, baked goods, and coffee drinks that all look pretty good. It's pretty small and cozy inside, and there's a good-sized patio for a nicer day. I love a place that lets me get a breakfast sandwich past the AM. From the sandwich and wrap I've tried, they don't skimp on the proteins, and they're fully loaded. The lox and the breakfast burrito were both quite tasty; don't ignore that salsa that comes with the burrito, it adds a good flavorful kick. I had their Aussie capp and it showed that they have some good quality espresso. I can't speak on pastries, but I'd definitely come back to try some. This place is a touch pricier than comparable cafés, but I think the quality and portions justify it.

I used to be a Food Critic, which I don't say to be a snob, but to provide context for when I declare Emmett's Cafe as one of the Top 10 best breakfasts I have had, with the coffee being Top 10 as well. This would include breakfasts in Antarctica to Japan to Canada to the smallest of towns in Alabama (so good), but Emmett's provides the exact right blend of flavorful without being greasy -- all with the singularly unique taste, texture, and a just enough punch to differentiate it from all the other restaurants in Columbus. I went for three straight days and could not get enough of the coffee called "Smooth as Butta," and literally could have eaten two breakfasts: breakfast burrito and the "Meat and Tato." In fact I did order both, and the flavors of the Meat and Tato -- their most popular dish -- was a delightful mashup of sweet, slightly sour, and hot. It's like eating a Nashville Hot Chicken for the first time: you don't expect the hot and crunch and sweet but it all works stupendously well. I am happy for all those who live in Columbus who get a chance to try this amazing place. Savor it! It's simply incredible!

Love Emmett's! The German Village location is a small space located just off High Street. We usually order to go here several times a week & it's always very consistent. The service is great and the staff is friendly. Their iced matcha is my favorite - best I've tried in Columbus.

Cozy, perfect clean and very friendly cafe. Coffees perfect too. Best breakfast burrito according to my son. Tried the turkey club and chicken sammies and both are interesting and delicious. Highly recommend!!!!

This restaurant is a gem of a find while visiting Columbus! First off, their mocha latte with oatmilk is the best I have ever had. I wish I was exaggerating but I promise I am not. If you like a smooth mocha that has a h I n t of sweetness, this is the drink for you! It was perfectly foamy and just got enough that I drank it pretty quick. My partner got a drop coffee and he said it was too hot to drink fast but the flavor was great.I ordered the breakfast burrito and my partner got the lox sandwich. Both were huge portions and extremely filling! I only ate half the burrito, it was that big. Can't wait to have the rest for lunch later as the flavor was delicious!Other reviews have talked about the pricing. For the amount of food and quality Emmett's supplies, it is more than worth the price! I wish I lived closer, this would be my new daily spot!Keep up the great work Emmett's! Your staff is super friendly and helpful!

It’s hard to find a shop in Columbus that offers delicious coffee and delicious food. This is the first shop I’ve found so far that I can’t fault for both items.

The only reason this isn't 5 stars is bc it is not very child-friendly so that is something to be mindful of if you're bringing your littles to dine-in. The space is a little smaller in size but there is seating inside with barstool-like chairs. I brought my 10 month old son and had to hold him the entire time bc he was unable to sit in the stool. Besides that, the service was good and the staff were very friendly. Their POS system was down so we had to place our order online which was not a big deal. Our food was made fresh and came out quickly! We ordered the One Handed, Avocado Toast with fresh fruit (for my son), and a side order of Tots. The Tots were amazing and definitely a recommended must-try! We also ordered some lattes and they were very tasty! I definitely recommend the Smooth As Butta latte -- unfortunately no photos this time as one hand was holding my son and the other was "one-handing" the delicious breakfast sandwich! We'll be back again, maybe just without my little the next time around.

My adult children picked up food for us to try today from Emmetts for the first time, and I frankly wish they had just gone to NorthStar or First Watch! At least the price would have made sense for the value! The food was all out of sorts - wilted greens, under done eggs and over done eggs, and to top it off, a meal for 4 people was well over 80$! 1 star because at least the order was correct..!

The place itself is cute and cozy. Service was good. However, the pricing is insane. I got the turkey club for 16.50, so my expectations were high. Also got a latte (latte was decent). When I tell you I was so disappointed….it was basically a school lunch. The bread was white sliced…like c’mon. Could’ve at LEAST did focaccia or even whole wheat. The sandwich itself was mid. Came with some fruit. Felt like I bought food from the airport. Would not recommend unless you don’t care how much you spend on food.
