“This place is absolutely fire. Came through town with a buddy and finally got to try this place. Had sambusa and a tomato cucumber salad for appetizer We split the sampler platter for 2 (Garden I think) The dishes were extremely well prepared. I love Ethiopian food and the chef did not disappoint. Very fresh ingredients and well prepared stews. Absolutely loved the Okra dish. Like blown away. Highly recommend and look forward to going back. The gentleman working (owner?) was really welcoming, kind and helpful. There is a lot of care that goes into this food and it shows.“

“2024Still an excellent Eithiopian restaurant! See photos of veggie combo and the whole fish dinner. Both tasted great. Enjoyed Jebena coffee ceremony complete with Frankincense incense. Young man who served us was gracious, welcoming, and efficient. Great birthday lunch for my older friend. Thank you!2019Enjoyed the vegetarian combo platter— great assortment of salad, greens, cabbage, yellow pea, lentil, beet and potato dishes all in little tasty piles on excellent enjera bread—nice casual setting— fine service. Strong Eithiopian coffee — like espresso! Very welcoming to customers here. Great Eithiopian music videos make the meal even better!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian combination platter is delicious!“

“This is our crew at the Ibex. We stopped in here for a quick bite. My brother Mikie who is a vegetarian and I thought this would be fun. When we arrived the place looked closed. We tried the door anyway and it was open. We truly enjoyed every thing. We had the ibex special, vegetarian combo, the sambusas and several other items. As a side note- They seemed to know nothing about the check in coupon and their prices are different than reflected online. But the prices were still very reasonable for the amount and quality of the food we got. The server, who also appeared to be the chef and the bartender was very kind and attentive.“

“Really great food and nice workers. I ordered the lamb and rice and it was super tender and flavorful. The portions are huge, it was enough for two days. Prices were reasonable as well. I only had to wait about 8 minutes for my food which was really quick. Definitely recommend for good food!“

“Good food. Though we prefer the taste of other Ethiopian places, we still come back because this one is less out of the way. But, carry out orders take a lot longer than they predict. Both times we've ordered, they estimated 25-30 minutes, and it actually took about 50 minutes. So be sure to order plenty in advance.“

“Was craving Ethiopian food so I went here! Let me to tell you, now this was my first time at this particular restaurant. When I walked in I was greeted by a young lady who immediately took care of me! I asked for a menu and she gave me one, because I’ve never been to this restaurant I asked her what she recommended. I told her what I was familiar with and she recommended the beef TIBS , I ordered the TIBs spicy with injera bread(which I LOVE) and a side of rice. The wait was a little over 10/15 mins but the it was worth it! The only reason I’m giving a 3 star on food is because of portion size, I had more Injera than actually TIBS and when you pay 16.99 for a meal you want your money worth. Other than that, the customer service was awesome, the food was very flavorful and the atmosphere was very laid back and quiet. I will be back and recommend this place if you’re ever in the mood!“
