This is such a cute little pizza shop. We got a pepperoni pizza with mushrooms and onion. It was, hands down, one of the best pizzas I've had. The sauce was just the right level of sweet and it had delicious stringy cheese. 10/10 would absolutely recommend that you support this local shop!
I have been going to this place for years - since the '80's. I remember when a large classic pepperoni was $5. We could even tell if the old man made the pizza or his son (who is now the old man). When we brought it home we'd ask, "Is the a Gatto or a son-of-Gatto?" Both were great, but a connoisseur could tell the difference. It's my favorite pizza joint in the world and I've been everywhere. Fantastic pizza - there's a reason this place is a Clintonville institution. I actually think the quality has improved since their North high days. The sauce and cracker thin crust with the classic pepperoni is a Columbus tradition, and this is one of the better ones on the pizza trail. Prices are very affordable - our group of four ate for $40, including drinks and a garlic bread appetizer.
