We are beyond impressed by the food, great owner, friendly chef, and fantastic experience at Golden Fried Chicken and Fish. This is the place if you’re looking for true southern-style fried catfish.
My husband and I went here for lunch. There was plenty of parking and a steady flow of folks in and out for good reason.
The owner, J.R., greeted us as soon as we walked in. He was very helpful, informative, and so nice. His staff clearly respects him, and he runs a great shop.
It only took 10 minutes to get all our food steaming hot and fresh. I ordered the catfish dinner. My husband ordered the Golden Combo.
Just, wow. The flavor on this is 10/10. The last time I had catfish this good was when we were down south. Golden Fried Chicken and Fish is the best catfish in Columbus. Great business, incredible food. We can’t say enough great things.
