My wife stumbled upon this place online, and I must say it...is...amazing! We've passed Goremade Pizza several times and never noticed it. On the outside, it has a very unassuming appearance. But once inside, it's full of charm and ambiance.The staff were very kind and welcoming. There's not much seating, but perfect for just the two of us. The service was on point. Everything we needed was provided often without us having to ask.We love the taste of coal fired pizza, but other places that we've visited have taken up to 45 minutes or so for us to be served. Not so at Goremade Pizza. We ordered salad, cheesy bread, and two pizzas. It was served 'course style', so each item followed the previous, and the timing of the delivery for each item was perfect.As for the taste, everything was great! The salad came in a box, which was different, but nevermind that, it was delicious. Followed by the cheesy bread, which was served on a thin crust, and was very light even. I didn't feel full after eating it. Which left plenty of room for the pizza.I'm a classic pepperoni pizza guy, so that's what I had. While my wife opted for the custom pizza option. And by custom, they chose what kind to make for her. She have two items that she absolutely didn't want on it. But then they created a pizza of their choice. She loved it!Goremade Pizza has now been added to our favorites list. I'd recommend it to everyone. It's truly one of Columbus' hidden gems.
Taste is good. Cook was very friendly. Ambiance is decent. But for 18 bucks I expect to get filled up. 12 inch paper thin pizza. Only had three toppings. Majorly disappointed. No wonder the place is empty. They need to lower the price to 10 dollars or at least use a thick crust. Never coming

A quality brick oven pizza spot with a cozy vibe. I got the Clintonvillian with pepperoni, it had very good flavor, quality ingredients, and tasty crust. I also tried their local sodas and the sour cherry was delicious! our only issue was the wait, 40+ min for ours and many others pizza, I don’t recommend going during busy times or be prepared to wait. Overall I was very pleased and would return.

My husband and I have been searching for some great pizza in Columbus and I would definitely add Goremade to the list! Who I think was the owner was so nice and silly and very welcoming. He was hosting a local grain club while we were there and I bought some really fun bags of flour for baking and he also let me try the banana bread. The only not fully positive thing I have to say is that the pizza was a little too thin. My husband and I shared a pie and were still hungry afterwards. Next time we’ll just have to get 2 which isn’t the end of the world, I’m excited to try again with different toppings! :)

A warm and comforting place to find respite from the Midwestern winter cold and enjoy artisanal, wood-fired Neopolitan style pizza. Sounding pompous? It's not very. The staff are all down to earth, helpful, and conversational. The pizza and cheesy bread offer enough cheese to satisfy, and both left me wanting me second orders. Shoutout to the Porkistopheles and Your Pizza Dreams custom options. My custom featured sausage, peppadew, and caramelized onions. Just make sure you come ready to spend more on your food than at Jet's or Donato's. Goremade was another life decision I would repeat.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options are available
This is my favorite pizza place in Columbus ? ♥️. It is small, but it has such a unique personality. I don’t know another place like this in the city. The oven is from Naples, Italy, and it is beautiful to see: it is the heart of the place ?.The ingredients are fresh and there is always a seasonal selection. There is an option to choose a pizza created by the chef at the moment, and these have always been my favorite pizzas. There is a local selection of beer, and they have gelato! ? ?. I love to be able to read a book available in the bar and write on their guest notebook ??️. So cool! If you like spicy, they have the spiciest homemade seasoning, called XXXXXX. My family handles spicy very well, and it has challenged all of us! Love it! ?️ ❤️?. Highly recommended. Compliments and thank you for existing.

I checked this place out with a friend of mine because they were honoring the legalization of Flower in Ohio by having a inviting atmosphere amongst a fire place lit in the back of the restaurant. They claim to be “pot” friendly. The staff was nice and lit a beautiful fire for use to enjoy. The food was amazing and I highly recommend anyone in the campus and short north area to try this place if you already haven’t!
First time walking into GoreMade, such an intimate and cozy space. I must say family is what these beautiful people made me feel like. 100/10 experience. The pizza? Say no more, nothing less than perfect. The crust is chewy on the inside with a crisp snap on the outside. Ingredients are fresh and delicious. The owners hit the nail on the head with the vision which began as friends gathering on Sundays. I would go back weekly if I could! (And maybe I just will) Give it a shot, you’ll be pleased!
