It was Valentine's Day, and City Barbecue was about to close because they didn't have enough food. Wow!My daughter wanted to go there but that wasn't happening. I mentioned Hibachi Express, and she was fine with it.We ordered the food, and it took a while, but it was ok because it gave me and my daughter time to talk.They are usually prompt with the food.My daughter was very pleased with her shrimp and salmon ? and I was good with my chicken and shrimp.

Just average hibachi, nothing great about it. Customer service is lacking. Young girl took my order, asked, with the intention of paying, for extra yum yum and extra teriyaki sauce. She didn't put either in my bag so when I requested it be added to my to go bag, an older lady got grabby with my receipt, pulled up my order and saw that I did in fact order extra yum yum and paid for it and ordered extra teriyaki but the young girl had not charged me for this. I left a $5 tip on a $12 ticket and instead of apologizing and handing me a 10-cent cup of sauce, they still insisted that I scan my card for a dollar for the sauce that they mistakenly did not charge me for. I won't Go back.

I love Hibachi Express. It's really close to where I live and I go about once a week. I get the hibachi steak with all 4 veggies added and sometimes an order of chicken egg rolls also. The fried rice is only okay, I don't typically eat it because it's not good enough for the calories to me. Sometimes my steak is over cooked or tougher, but it's not enough to negatively impact my meal. The meal also comes with sautéed cabbage as well, and all the vegetables are always delicious. The chicken egg rolls are delicious and the sweet and sour sauce they come with tastes bottled, nothing special.
After spending over $30 I ordered chicken and salmon, should've went to the grocery store instead, very small portion of salmon and over cooked dry & hard, chicken was over cooked dry & hard had over abundance of rice than meat, shrimp fried rice was all rice 10 pieces of shrimp, crab ragoons were the only good item in my order, I ate the food because I was at home and I didn't want to cook and I was hungry from working a 10 hr shift but will not under any circumstances will be even considering this place for anything. wished I would've taken pictures.

Ordered takeout online, had the steak, veggies, chicken and fried rice meal. Had crab ragoon on the side. Everything was delicious, the best crab ragoon I've had in a long time. Wonderful, quick service. The staff was so polite. I will def go back and bring a friend.
