Food is better than the typical hibachi restaurant. Wasn’t overly salty like other places. Did not like watery salad served.

Said they took their last table over 30 prior to closing.

Kid-friendliness: Children will love the amazing show put on by the chef at your table, they cook in front of you and it does contain a lot of fire so beware of that.

love hibachi and always go to the one it tuttle but tried polaris! The chef was super sick, coughing on all the food without covering his mouth. We moved tables and the server was great but all the employees kept on starring at us and it was very uncomfortable. New chef was awesome though food was good! Probably won’t be coming back to the one in polaris though.

Fun as always...too much food, too much butter on the fried rice, too expensive just get white rice if you want to have some contrast. House salad tastes terrible dressing was warm. Everything on the grill tastes exactly the same just get chicken no need to pay for steak or shrimp when its flavored the same way. Not sure how they get away with cutting raw chicken with the same utensils as the cooked stuff without washing ? havent they heard of cross contamination? Just cut it up ahead of time on separate boards and utensils, but we didn't get sick... this time.

I would not visit this place again. It was very dirty and gross looking. We got there right at opening time and the carpet was FILTHY, not to mention threadbare. There is no way it had been cleaned from the day before (or longer). The grill stations were also dirty. I am removing one star for lack of cleanliness.Otherwise it is a typical Japanese steak house, very heavy on grease and beige foods. There is a veg option, which would be good were there any effort to avoid cross contamination. Too bad because I love that they serve beansprouts here. My friend gave me her beansprouts but I could not eat them because they tasted like nothing but charred meat.I opted for 2 sushi rolls. The waiter was super nice and friendly she brought me two salads, which were delicious.

We wanted to order sushi and not hibachi but only saw three sushi options on the menu we were given, so we ordered two of the three (a California roll and a sushi sampler) along with gyoza and crab rangoon. The server brought us soup which was good, but when the hibachi chef came out to cook and learned we didn’t order any hibachi, he became visibly irritated with us and stormed off toward the sushi area and complained about us, within earshot, then came back and told us that we shouldn’t be sitting there and we should sit at the bar. No one asked us before seating us what we were planning to order or indicated that it had any bearing on where we were allowed to sit. He made us feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable and then said we could stay. The gyoza came out burnt and had no dipping sauce. The crab rangoon was hard. The server brought out sashimi, not sushi. When I asked about it, he said that it was the sushi even though it was clearly sashimi. I *then* learn that they have an entirely separate menu for sushi, if I want sushi. I ordered an item from that menu and when it came, we both tried some and it tasted off. Like spoiled fish. We didn’t even eat it and left as quickly as possible. Horrible experience.

First of all I'm not a fan of the ginger dressing that goes on the salad, and also don't like that you don't get soup for lunch just only dinner. The staff was nice and attentive and the chef randy did cook our food really good. The atmosphere is a nice laid back scene which I can appreciate. But to be honest this is not one of my favorite Japanese Steakhouses who know I may someday give it another try.

I went here with my buddy and our five children and two of us ended up getting violently ill after having dinner that night and the next day. I feel like it was either food poisoning or norovirus.
