Delicious food in an unassuming spot! This is a hidden gem. So glad that I heard about it in a foodie group. Don't let the lack of ambiance fool you. The food is very good and the service is great. ???Wheelchair accessibility: There is an accessible ramp at the entrance. I did not observe a handicapped parking spot however.
The breading for the fried catfish is perfectly seasoned and it was fried to perfection. The fish was fresh and tasty and the portions generous. The fried okra was also near perfection. The baked beans were very good but I tasted my friend’s greens and will be ordering them next time. The staff is friendly and efficient. Judging by the constant stream of carry out customers that came through while we were eating, I’d say that they are quite popular.

I happened upon this place on google. I have been 3 times and the food is perfect each time. I wish the inside had a better vibe, it is kind of stiff. But paper towels at each table is a nice touch! I wish parking was easier to maneuver.Most of all - I wish they had better hours. It is bizarre how a restaurant closes at 4p during the week and 8p on weekends. Please stay open longer!
