Stopped in to grab some take out. Haven't been here for a few years and didn't expect the "pay booth" entrance. Lol. The dining room is how I remembered it, big blue booths and the lovely mural on the wall This is still a GREAT place for lunch! They have lunch specials (see menu picture I pinned to this review). It comes with wither and egg roll or soup. I wanted chicken, but not fried and it had to have a lot of vegetables. The owner suggested Szechuan chicken. When I got it home it looked like hardly any vegies but oh wowzers-- the vegies were burried under the rice and the mushrooms were so fresh! I wish I had gotten the soup. The egg-roll was a bit dry and they managed to forgot to put in the sauce to dip it in. Also left out the fortune cookie. Was kind of sad about that, too. Still, for 9 dollars this place definitely is great.

We got the orange chicken, veggie fried rice, and chicken lo mein to go. Easily ordered over the phone. The food was all very mid. Not at all disappointing, but also not anything STAND OUT. Solid choice for regular Chinese takeout.

I placed a Door Dash order Friday night at 7pm.Based upon another favorable review I ordered an egg roll and I agree it was delicious!I ordered Chicken Lo-Mein and it was fresh with great flavor. The order followed my special notes (requested side of sauce and no veggies in Lo Mein). The chicken was fresh and perfectly cooked. The price was favorable as well.I would definitely order from here again.[Note: I never give 5 stars on my first experience with takeout. I will update accordingly after my follow-up experience.]

Their food is TOP QUALITY. I'm from Boston, and they're known for some of the best Chinese food. Joy Food One is the closest I've found to East Coast Chinese food. My family loves the food there.

Large portions, food looks as good as it tastes, definitely our new go to takeout. We had it for christmas since we celebrate Hanukkah and wouldnt be able to see family. Im picky with takeout and mann the food was so good - ate the leftovers for breakfast too ?Mongolian Beef and Szechuan Chicken, crab rangoons with the spicy broccoli (highly recommend!!). Only drawback might have been the rangoons didnt have much crab, but they still tasted so good and those aren’t even usually what I prefer. Will have to try some other specialties next time! Highly recommend.

Small restaurant set for dining in but appeared to do most of their business through online ordering.

It's been a while since I've ordered from here and was always happy with the food in the past. But my most recent order was pretty disappointing. The rice for both meals tasted like it had been stored in plastic for too long and taken on its flavor.

Great food. Reasonably priced. Kind and efficient staff. I don't know if people eat here in the dining room, but take out is excellent and everyone has the system down. Steady stream of people in and out to pick up food. Easiest to order on the website but they have good coupons if you call too. Yum.

I use to be very happy with this restaurant. The prices keep going up but menu doesn't reflect. I just got home to find my order missing the soup that was to come with my 15.00 meal. The menu states soup and rice. No soup included. And the portion size was terrible. I won't be ordering here anymore. After 6 years of being a dedicated customer the quality and service has declined, and prices go way up.

We used to love joy food one and ordered from them weekly. However, they have a new menu now and a new POS system and their changes have dropped their quality dramatically. I don’t know if they have new ownership but it’s not for the better. Very disappointed and now looking for a new Chinese restaurant that doesn’t use third party delivery :/

The call-in order process has recently changed & is terrible. I used to call & the same guy answered, but now it sounds like an answering service & the people answering seem confused by the order & the process is completely different. Very frustrating, I prefer the old system!
