We love Nicola. I have been there multiple times. The menu options, the service, the friendliness of everyone, the consistent excellent quality are always on-point. We opted to dine out on Easter for the first time ever because of the special Easter menu. It was a great menu with lots of interesting options. I ordered the Tecchino (turkey breast rolled with mortadella and spinach). I would say the spinach-mortadella center was a bit bland and the turkey itself was overwhelmingly salty. But that did not alter how much we love Nicola and loved our Easter meal. It was a lovely day and we will be back again soon.

We were there for my parent's 50th anniversary. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Will definitely be back, as well as recommending to others.

Chef/owner Nicola continues to demonstrate creativity and great taste. Their new menu has some interesting new dishes and always great specials. This time the papardelle with a crab meet sauce was delicious. Great mostly Italian wine list.

This was a small celebration dinner, and as usual everyone at Nicola made it special. The authentic Italian food, the fantastic service (Beth) and the just right ambience make this our favorite restaurant in Columbus.

The service was slow and inattentive. We were going to get dessert but didn't want to sit for an additional 30-40 minutes to have dessert for two. Our waitress was cleaning windows and chatting with other tables overly long. The food was great again! I got the lasagna, and it wasn't quite as good as normal but I'd give it a 4 out of 5.

Nicola Restaurant & Bar is one of our very favorite restaurants. The owner and staff are very friendly and professional. The menu always has many dishes I'd be interested in ordering. There were four in our party and everyone loved everything.

There were too many people for the size of the space and it was too noisy. The food was very good, but over priced. This was our second visit, but we won't be back for awhile.

I have been at Nicola three times and each meal was delicious. Pricy but you eat a savory quality meal.

- they were overwhelmed for Valentine's Day and service was not great unfortunately. Missed our appetizer, when dinner came and we mentioned we never got our appetizer they offered to bring it a couple of times, and with our pasta in front of us, we just said it doesn't make sense anymore to have the appetizer now. - both of our pastas were absolutely fantastic and we weee very happy with the food itself - charged us $10/glass for a wine that was $9/glass on their Valentine's Day menu (believe the same wine was $10/glass on the regular menu). Didn't say anything when the bill came, just small things overall that added up - if the mandatory 20% tip is added for Valentine's Day, it'd be great if the level of service could match that as well -wrote this feedback on our receipt too, didn't hear back

Horrible. We got there and they checked us in. Then we sat there for 45 minutes. Then my wife asked me to go up to check so i checked. The women said we don't use open table anymore so it's gonna be a longer wait you can jsut sit at the bar. Keep in mind they called me 2 times this week to make sure i wasn't gonna cancel.

Arrived 10 minutes early and the hostess told us to go sit at the bar, which was full. We stood in the lobby for a few minutes and were seated after 5. Server took our drink order and then didn't come back for over 20 minutes. Very limited Valentine's Day menu with awkward things like “this is the only menu we are serving today” and “you only have your table for 90 minutes” printed on it. Food was good but pricey and in small portions.

Tables were way overpacked for Valentine's Day. Our backs were being hit and run in to every time someone walked by us. We basically were sitting at a table with another couple with the way the tables were set up.

We booked Nicola on Valentine's Day which might have been part of the problem. Upon booking we were notified that we would have the table for 1 hour 30 min before they turned it for the next reservation. No problem except... We showed up for our reservation on time. 15 minutes later the waitress stopped by and took our drink order. After 30 minutes, I stopped her and asked her for water (we hadn't received anything at that point). She brought us glasses of water, and checked to confirm that we had placed a drink order. A few minutes later she brought us our drinks, a glass of wine for me and a beer for my husband. Unfortunately, as she was pouring the drink she noticed dirt on the inside of the glass which she tried to scratch off with her long fingernail (which I guess was going to fall into the drink once she got it off the glass?) He asked for a new drink which she brought to us in a few minutes. Unfortunately that apparently made her uncomfortable so she didn't return to our table to 15 minutes, during which time we did get salads from the food runner. We were an hour into our 1.5 hour reservation that they told us we had when we arrived (the next reservation time was posted on our table to keep us aware of the restaurant's schedule) and we hadn't gotten any additional service or food, so we decided to leave. I have heard good things about the food but unfortunately didn't get a chance to try it because the service was so bad.
