I've lived relatively close to Laguna for years and just now checked their yelp reviews and thought, "I have to try this!" I gave it 4/5 because it is pretty darn good food, but I'm not a crazy raving fan for a couple of reasons. #1 issue is price to value ratio. I'm sure they have had to raise their prices like everyone else but I found it pretty expensive for what it is. Had each item knocked my socks off I could have been a 5. But they didn't Tacos pastor x2 (3.99 each) Elotes x1 (4.99) Chips/Salsa x1 (3.99 I think....) Diet coke x1 (not sure) Tacos: These were fantastic. Soft corn tortilla, moist pork not overseasoned to let the flavor shine, and fresh grilled onions still with a bit of crunch. And some kind of green sauce from the heavens above. The price for these I can get over and will return for the tacos alone. Elotes. aka Mexican street corn on the cob. They did a nice job on the coating/toppings ratios but it seemed just a little bland. Maybe needed some salt. The biggest issue I had was the corn was boiled and I'm not used to boiled corn any longer. Every bite would send basically blank water into your mouth. If they grilled the corn it would be 1000x better. Chips/Sala: The chips are homemade but mine wasn't warm as others described. The salsa was tasty. Again, kind of overpriced to me. Staff were amazingly friendly and the customers were steady over the lunch hour. I'll be back for the tacos and to try other styles......and to try the tortas, ice cream and iced coffee, but prob skip on the elotes and chips to save a few $$.

Like a Yelper before me, I scarfed down my food before I remembered to take a picture. It is THAT good. I'm pretty sure I'm going to need a bronchoscopy since I INHALED the elote. Laguna Mexican Street Food is a small, family-owned and operated establishment with big flavor. It is located in an unimpressive strip mall but don't let that deter you. Besides delicious food, service is stellar. Try the elote - or two. They offer street tacos, which mean they are less substantive than a boulevard taco, but they have a variety of tasty meats. Get one of each but make sure to try an al pastor...best in the region. Did I tell you it was family owned and operated? It is obvious they take a great deal of pride in their product and the customer experience. While other restaurants are struggling to find staff, I'm greeted by the same friendly people every visit. I was very pleasantly surprised this place. I got the burrito and unlike chipotle the steak was so nice and not hard and whatever. I walked in quite hangry and they solved the problem and were super friendly doing so.

So good that I, once again, forgot to take pictures of the food before I ate it all. That is always the sign of a good meal. Located in a nondescript strip mall. The inside is cheerful and clean, with several small tables for dine in. You order at the counter and they bring your food over when ready. The street tacos were some of the best I have had in Columbus and the guacamole is stellar. Tortilla chips are freshly made and served hot. This sounds strange I know, but the highlight of the meal was the vanilla iced coffee. It is a good thing this place is just a bit too far from home, or it would be a daily stop in the summer for a cold and creamy coffee drink. Cannot wait to try the homemade ice cream in warmer weather.
This place is amazing! The tacos are wonderful! I've been wanting a decent street taco and this went above and beyond! Omg these tacos. I can't say enough about how in love I am with these. They're so small and just phenomenal. I got carnitas, chicken, and steak tacos and then I went back for two additional carnitas tacos. The salsa and chips were amazing as well. And these tacos are super cheap. Everything but the steak tacos are $2 per taco. How can you argue. The service is wonderful too. I highly recommend if you want a legit taco!

Ordered for takeout tonight and the food was wonderful, and the service was top-notch! I ordered a chicken burrito bowl and my husband had a pastor burrito,, with an order of churros for dessert. All was delicious and I'm sorry it took me this long to order dinner from Laguna. My girls and I have been By for ice cream in the past, which was amazing as well. This will be our go-to spot for Mexican in the future.

Laguna is amazing! We normally get burritos and churros. The burritos are fantastic and large. The churros are great without being too sweet like I've had at other places. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. We've ordered take out at least 20 times and our order has always been correct. Highly recommend!

It started with a stop at a gas station and small talk and I landed here, small place, in a plaza, once inside three tables with four chairs to a table (social distancing, perfectly) it was very clean and everything was organize perfectly. My order was taken, quickly I was serve with friendliness and seated myself. Everything tasted wonderful and fresh. Absolutely no complaints at all.
