This is my favorite coffee shop in Columbus! The staff is very kind and the service is great. Accessibility in this location is good. There are wide aisles for mobility and wheelchair accessibility as well as mixed seating (high and low tables) for different mobility needs. This coffee shop is animal friendly which is positive for those who may have support/service animals. A good addition for this store could be printed handheld menus for those who may have a visual disability. Overall, this is a great store with great service, coffee, and environment.

Experience Columbus has a coffee trail, and we try to hit one coffee place each weekend. Today's destination was "The Roaming Goat" which is located inside the Short North neighborhood of downtown Columbus. Parking was easily found directly outside the shop The spot is metered but you dont need coins as its all app based and easy to pay. However, the meters downtown are free on Sundays so parking was free! We walked inside. I found the interior very basic. Thats not a slam... its just what it is. This is not your quaint, cozy, or stay for hours place. It is very utilitarian. Get your coffee, drink your coffee and get on with your day kind of place. Its made up of mostly counters that run along the perimeter of the shop with accompanying barstools. There were two upholstered chairs, but they were directly next to the trash can and the front door, which was not ideal. So, we chose not to sit there and found a little nook that had a counter with three chairs, so we found that kind of quiet, private place to enjoy coffee. The coffee!!! Yum. It was really very good. He likesI got a honey cinnamon oat-milk latte that made me say mmmmmm way more than my husband cared to hear. They also have items from Patty-cake bakery and the pop tarts from Happy Little Treats. Omg if you haven't had one of those pop tarts-you are missing out! We purchased a blueberry one for latter and split a cranberry pecan one at the shop. (They are big). While we were there 4+ customers came in with their dogs. So it's super dog friendly. Which is so nice to see. We will be back maybe with our fur baby! 5 out of 5 stars. A great place for a quick cup of coffee!

I live close to roaming goat and always have really great customer service here. The WiFi wasn’t functional when I was here - hence my rating. So a fair warning if you are trying to do work that requires connection. The staff did try to troubleshoot it. We didn’t resolve the issue, but again points for great service.

On 02/18/2024 I came in with a friend of mine and we ordered two coffees. We were both very respectful and kind. The cashier proceeded to be immensely rude and had a poor attitude which created a hostile environment. She was rude to my friend when he asked what kind of milk was in one of the seasonal lattes. We stood there for a moment when she hastily told us it would be ready on the side. I then proceeded to say okay where she stated, “well what do you have a question or something?” I found this extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. I used to have a pleasant experience in this coffee shop and I hope this does not continue for the future. I simply will not be coming back, disappointing. Honestly if I could give it a zero I would due to that experience.

I’ve been here a few times and my order is usually messed up even after repeating it back to me and the people taking my order have always been unfriendly anI generally feel unwelcome here so I’ve decided to stop coming

Went here for my first time recently and let me just say how cute and cozy this place is! I tried their cinnamon caramel latte with the cinnamon chip donut and it was pretty good. The donut was also gluten free. I love the fact that they're super dog friendly, the main reason why this place is getting 5 stars from me. You get good coffee and get to enjoy it with your fur baby!

Super nice staff- but I found the coffee to be typical American bitter even with honey. So if you like American coffee give it a shot.

The staff here is lovely and the cappuccino I had was not bad. Seating is minimal. I did share a table with another kind patron. If you NEED to plug in and work, you might want to try a larger coffee shop. You are not guaranteed a seat or a plug here. For a coffee to go, lots of drink options and fast, friendly service. I parked down a side street and walked over. Parking on busy High Street can be a challenge!

Coffee is top tier and the staff is great! Try the Tollhouse cookies! Amazing :) Hot chocolate for the colder days would be a great addition

A little hidden gem for fantastic coffee! I tried a cinnamon caramel latte and it was amazing! Quality ingredients and the perfect temperature! The staff was super friendly and eager to help answer any of my questions. They were out of a few things but were happy to offer alternative suggestion. Highly recommend!
