So many better steak houses around Columbus, skip this place. Ruth’s Chris has always had brand recognition that I wanted to try. Walking in you notice the dress code sign but then you look at the messy counter and plastic drink cup behind the front desk the two vibes don’t match. Ordered cowboy steak only to find out they didn’t have any, then ordered the t-bone only to find out they didn’t have those either. Finally found a steak they had on the third attempt of running back and forth to the kitchen to find out. Was surprised to our order being wrote down with pen and paper. Steak was seasoned and cooked well but steak quality tasted more like a choice great and not prime. Drink prices were average and made well. Food prices for quality were way too high. It’s not lost me that it’s normal for a fine steakhouse to cost $100+ per person but the quality and experience does not match the price point.

Firstly I have to say our waitress Dionne was absolutely amazing. She was super pleasant and helped us the most she can. Honestly more people like her need to work there. She could not have done better to help out the experience. For food, I am sorry but it's a Wednesday night and we were told they were out of mushrooms for an app. We placed our order of 3 cowboy ribeyes, then were told they were out. After which we switched, ordered a bone in New York strip, Sirloin, and a T-Bone. Then was told they were out of the T-Bone. We even asked if they could just cut the extra bone off the tomahawk and serve it as a cowboy or a discount and was told no. Overall our food comes out, I asked for medium rare it was a medium well, not going to complain at this point because probably look like Karen's. The bone in New York looks like a filet with a bone in it. Overall save your money and just go to Hyde Park or go to Jeff Ruby's. You will have a better experience and have your choices of meat. Because on a Wednesday night to ask for a steak you want might be too much work.

The table was ready exact at the reserves time. Since we cane earlier we had to wait at the bar. The service was a bit in stress. We got our table directly beside the kitchen entry. The door was open all time and we asked for another table. This was ok. We ordered surf&turf but the steak was ordered medium but came completly well. Even after 30 min. We didn‘t get another steak and decided to leave the restaurant w/o eating.

Who serves shrimp and lobster on a 500 degree plate lmao. It totally overcooks any type of seafood/shellfish dish. Steak was great can’t complain about that. My gf steak did get over cooked by the plate as well as her shrimp. It’s like why are you serving food on a sizzling plate is this Applebees or something?? Don’t get me started on the potatoes au gratin, the chef clearly doesn’t know what au gratin is as I was served 14 dollar cold smashed potatoes with a thick dense layer of cheese on top. Just get steak when you come here and tell them to serve it on a regular plate. This isn’t the sizzler it’s supposed to be a nice restaurant leave the sizzlePlate for uncle Eddy your guest do not want that on there table

Way to over priced for gordon food service noodles and product. Service was butt and I there was little flavor to everything. Might as well go to Hyde park or Mitchell’s for the same price with better service and quality

First off this place is ridiculously over priced, they All-a cart you to death.About a third of the way into her salad, the Waiter asked my wife if she liked it. She mentioned the dressing was heavy and would like to try a different one. Instead of dressing the waiter offered her a new salad, hesitantly she said agreed. When the new salad arrived the bowl was literally less than half full, with little to no salad makings. This was so petty, the waiter should never have delivered it.The Sea Bass was ok, the mac and cheese lobster was bland and greasy. This location in particular needs reviewing, they are struggling to maintain the Ruth Chris name.

We went to Ruth’s Chris based off of their reputation for having absolutely amazing food and service! The service Fabulous Christian M was our waiter and he was great! The food was not unfortunately. Our app had to be made 2 times because it was burnt the first time, our steaks were cooked to well done when my wife and I both asked for Mid Rare and all of our sides were cold. Our meal was remade and the manager Josh did come to talk to us, we were given a free dessert and that was it for the compensation. While we were waiting on our dinners to be made again a homeless man came in and sat down and the issue was not addressed(no harm no foul, just unexpected) also if you have a dress code why not follow it? Ripped jeans, Tank tops, baseball hats etc in the dinning room(again no harm no foul, just remove the standards from your online profile) but my favorite was the lady drinking her can of monster while eating her food! Overall not the experience we expected. I firmly believe that this place is running on reputation alone and not on quality.

I've heard good things about this place so tried it. The steak was amazing but still expensive. The dessert I received was nothing like the item listed. Our server was more concerned with another table but was nice when available. Would not recommend.Kid-friendliness: Seating is well defined for kids

The sizzle is great but not the best. Definitely not the best. We had a new server.

The food was excellent, and the service was top notch. Our waiter, Chris, made sure that our anniversary dinner was a special occasion and not just a meal. I highly recommend Ruth Chris!

I enjoyed myself tonight! I did not catch the name of the head chef (I’m assuming) he had a mustache & bald head, but him,Nathan, & Brooklyn provided the upmost customer service. Their conversations were great, their attention to detail, & food / drink recommendations were sensational, helpful, and descriptive . They are the perfect examples of hospitality professionals & I wish them longevity & prosperity in their endeavors! These three made me & my companions night! Whoever made my caesar salad on 4/24 approximately at 7pm put their foot in it . All my plates were clean at the end of the night.
