Have always been a fan of SOH-specifically the mac and cheese. But recently we had SOH cater our wedding reception. The food was DELICIOUS, just as good as in the restaurant, if not better, and everybody loved it!! To top it off, we worked with Danny who was super nice and answered all of my silly questions leading up to the event. 10/10 would recommend.

Best brisket I've had in the Columbus area. And, man-o-man, the collared greens were fantastic, as was the macaroni-and-cheese.Very friendly service. I appreciate when the owner is fully engaged with the restaurant staff and guests.Parking: I had no problem finding parking a block a way on a Saturday, late-morning.

Had the pulled pork, "max 'n cheese," and spicy brisket chili.I was not expecting to have them take the pork shoulder out and shred off the piece in front of me, but that was a good touch and it was very good. The optional sauces were all a little too sweet for me, but it's probably a regional thing.Mac 'n cheese was good. Lots of cheese and creamy.The unexpected winner was the spicy brisket chili. Great flavor and was spicy enough to taste like it just came out of a dragon. Really great. If I had a do-over, I'd just order a quart of that for the meal.

Yes, Yes, Yes!!! This is a must taste restaurant, hands down top quality flavor, texture and atmosphere!! Just one visit and they have earned my multiple return visits! Max and staff as I stated while visiting you rank with our top five smoked restaurants in this country.We are truckers and we have a few select locations that have earned our respect and we are adding Smoked On High to that list. This is a must do……..I promise you will get your money’s worth and then some. We dropped 4 bills here so we could vacuum seal and eat on the road for days to come.Max thanks again for sharing your excellent tasting smoked food with us!!! 6 stars easy!!!

This place is incredible! probably the best ribs I've ever had in my life!!! The gentlemen I spoke with when getting my takeout was so nice and the restaurant itself is an old house with so much charm. Their sides are delicious you have to get their greens. I could eat there every week until the end of time. YUM!!!

This restaurant got a really high rating 4.7/5, but their ribs tasted nothing special with those in common bbq restaurants. They only had disposable utensils instead of any good ones. Anyway, they served fast with pickles and bbq sauces tasted decent. The spicy chili was impressive. They were still working on the decoration. Hopefully they can open the second floor and make the dining room larger.Vegetarian options: Coleslaw

A BBQ Gem on S. HIGH Street just north of Whittier Ave. A compact menu wthe best beef brisket and shredded chicken. Comfortable seating inside and out. Put Smoked on High on your destination list with easy access to downtown and German village. Very clean and within walking distance of other neighborhood attractions.
