We found this hole in the wall while looking for something to eat and seeing the word Taco on the sign. We decided to give it a shot because we were extremely hungry. Walking in, we were greeted warmly, and given our menus quickly. Our server was attentive, and seems to balance out task well with her co server. Our food was clearly traditional so make sure you’re clear about what you want if you’re not familiar with traditional Mexican food. We are familiar, so ordering went well.Tortillas were warm, chorizo queso was great. They also don’t have foundations, so we had our drinks from can or bottle.Over all, great food, great service. Will be back.Kid-friendliness: We didn’t bring children, but I did notice the server kindly helping a child who walked up to her at the expo window and asking for something.

Don Deme has become one of my favorite spots in Cbus. My partner and I went for a late dinner after our Plan A fell through. Luckily, this spot is no consolation prize. It's a bit unassuming from the outside and even on the inside, the decor isn't flashy or high-end. However, you have to visit them because they have excellent flavors and service. I ordered a pretty simple quesadilla with barbacoa and the normal sides of rice and fresh veggies. The barbacoa was so buttery smooth. It's also a huge portion for 12.99. Not pictured but they have amazing sauces, particularly their green sauce (if you are an early bird, try the chilaquiles with green sauce for breakfast). My partner and I could've finished the bottle in one sitting. Check them out if you're on the West side!

This place always so wonderful - a staple in our rotation of wonderful Mexican restaurants here in Columbus. I highly recommend the gorditas and tamales! And of course, the quesabirria is dynamite - as is everything else they make. Do yourself a favor and check this place out and stop by the Oaxacan bakery just a few shops down!

My favorite place currently and will be for a long time. I love the quesabirrias and they are the best I have had in Columbus so far! Definitely check this place out:)

Very authentic. Cheese dip is great. Very affordable. Salsa seems sort of Americanized. Decent tacos.
