Walked in with a large party and was ignored for 10 minutes until a worker told us to move or leave bc of a fire hazard. We laughed because we all work at a small restaurant in grandview so we completely understand that standing by the door in a fire hazard (as we experience at our job bc our location is small :( lol). As a group that works in the service industry we were surprised by their lack of service and welcoming, we left and went across the street to late night slice and they had 10/10 service. I've ate here with a partner, it was okay. Just disappointed in the customer service tonight, as we get annoyed with large walk-ins with no reservations, we still welcome with happy arms and good hospitality. This place lacks that. Will not come back and don't recommend. Looking for a good place to eat at? Take a look at the locations in Grandview, there are plenty of great food and service there

I ordered some things from here for family and forgot to snap pics, but still wanted to review. I tasted the mac and cheese dinner, cuban, a cobb salad, and the turkey sandwich. The portions were adequate and the prices were reasonable. The sandwiches were served with a side of chips and pickle spears. The mac and cheese came with bacon, jalapeños, and some other mixins' and was made with rotini. It was pretty good but not my favorite-- I think the ratio of pasta to mixed-in ingredients was a little off. It could have used more pasta. The cuban was yummy, probably my favorite thing I tried. The turkey sandwich was hefty but I felt that it needed a sauce of some sort. The salad was pretty good and fresh, but some of the toppings were in too large of pieces to eat without chopping them and I really wasn't a fan of the dressing it was served with.. it tasted like horseradish? Or something else that I didn't like. Overall not a bad option for delivery, but I'm not necessarily itching to order from there again.

This was a nice little place we stopped on for dinner before a play at the Lincoln. We were able to get a seat because it was early, but the place was hopping. I ordered the soft pretzels, which were delicious, and the Italian wedding soup, which was....not good. I only ate anot 4 bites of the soup. Service was great, but we had several different people come by instead of a single server. Maybe that is their standard operation, though? I will be going back again.

Olde Towne Tavern is a casual, can't-go-wrong kinda place. Inside the dark wood interior there are high tops and an inviting bar, and out back on the covered patio there are plenty of tables. On both of my visits I ordered food outside, and was pleasantly surprised by the super reasonable prices, good happy hour, and friendly service. This is a perfect neutral spot to have a beer or two and worry less.
I just finished eating my order delivered by postmates, and I have to say... this was the best delivered meal I've had in a LONG time! The food was hot, fresh and made with top quality ingredients! I will definitely be a returning customer and recommending this restaurant to my friends and family! I am thoroughly satisfied! Thank you!!

I feel like this place has been going downhill since all the staffing changes recently.We popped in on a weeknight just hoping to chill out and celebrate my partners birthday. There were about 10 guests visiting the bar. The bartenders did not make us feel welcome, and the ambiance was awful.This is the third time we've been in recently, and the music is so loud that we couldn't sit at the bar. We commented on this, and the bartenders actually turned it up louder.The music also kept switching from trap, to country, to dance edm. It was so disjointed that we figured it was touchtunes, but the bartenders had paused the jukebox and we're playing their own music.It felt like the bartenders were just having a party with one of their friends who was sitting at the bar, and not really caring about the rest of the folks who were in the space.We're basically regulars over there, so it hurts to write this, but after our last few experiences being similar, we'll be staying away for a bit.
