Seem like they are very dismissive to Somalis, me and a few other random Somalis got bad treatment.Reply:I didn’t even get a table, I walked in asking to see if they had a table and the male waiter said “ I don’t even want to waste your time, we are too busy” completely dismissive before hearing what I wanted. Met a few other Somalis that had similar experience. Clearly, you don’t want to sort the issue and still dismissive of my experience. It’s Ramadan for us as well! I think Somalis are big supporters of this restaurant and it should be reciprocated!

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant!!! The quality of the food is TOP TIER!!! First of all the staff is so kind they’re literally the best and most friendliest people ever. They want to make sure you have the best experience every single time. To think it couldn’t get better they also just renovated their seating area. This is a video of the chicken fahsa, I also got the chicken kabsa (not pictured) if you like lamb their lamb fahsa is also amazing. THE BREADDD order extra bread so good. I eat it as it because of how good it is but ordering their hummus dip would be good too! The soup that comes with the meals is the perfect starter. JUST GOAlso we’re Muslim, we went in for Iftar during Ramadan and they had dates for us to break our fast and also allowed us to pray in a bigger room.

This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a bit in Columbus! Originally we came to Yemeni Restaurant on a Columbus Food Tour. I’m so glad we did as I probably wouldn’t have ended up here on my own. We hadn’t been back in a couple years, but again, I’m so glad we did! Now I want to bring everyone I know here so they too can enjoy a wonderful meal. We started with the lamb broth, yum! It warmed us up on this unseasonably cold day. Then we got lamb hummus, lamb fahsa, and chicken haneeth. In my opinion the lamb hummus stole the show. It was SO GOOD! I could come and just eat that and be happy. My boyfriend enjoyed the lamb fahsa. In his words it was “really, really good.” The chicken was super tender and literally fell off the bone. Our server was super friendly and helpful. He gave some great suggestions. We finished our meal with some tea. Overall, you ought to come here and get the lamb hummus! You won’t be disappointed.

Definitely get the hummus.For parents, the kids menu posted online is incorrect. They do not have any of those dishes. The waiter suggested a few things but we have a kiddo with food sensitivity issues. We were going to take our food to go but he mentioned bringing something for him next time. So my husband ran out and grabbed him something else quickly and we were able to all enjoy there. Problem solved! (Most kids would have been able to eat the servers suggestions, I only mention to prepare parents with special needs and to highlight how accommodating and awesome this was). Many places cannot allow outside food and that's ok too!Hidden gem and so worth the drive!
Saw this online and been navigating around the area for new restaurants. My wife and I were blow away from the hospitality! Very easy to get in and food was served fast and super delicious. We had shared the Lamb Haneeth and Chicken Madhbi. Both were wonderful. Served with start of lamb soup (very good!) and tea (hot, sweet, and aromatic). Got the Lemon Mint which we highly recommend as a refreshing drink. And starter was the hummus with a very large Kubz bread. Looking forward to coming again and thanks for the wonderful dinner!
