Unfriendly, unable to match food with order, only show up for their shift to see if today is the day they were so exceptional at their job a customer thanked them with a punch in the face! We were coming back from a water park in Erie and we ordered 4 fries they gave us three. I asked for a McChicken no Mayo and they still gave me Mayo. The French fry box said "WcDonalds". It was not an enjoyable experience.

We placed an order for delivery through the McDonalds app. DoorDash handles the delivery. Placed the order at 10:00. 40 minutes later, no food, and DD shows the driver still waiting for the order, so we call inquiring about the order, and why it’s taking so long. First person in the phone is the General Manager, Marie, who proceeds to yell at my daughter that they don’t have any door dash orders. My daughter asked he to look up the McDonalds order number and the GM proceeds to get more frustrated, stating that she can’t see the order numbers, and has no control over delivery orders. My daughter begins asking another question and the GM hangs up mid-sentence. So I drive to the physical location. I tell her who I am and say I’d like a redo on the order. At this point, you would expect that the manager would be willing to do whatever to make the situation right. I was informed upon arrival that there was a DD order, that the guy was walking, not driving, and that we need to call DD. Wait, you gave a guy on foot the delivery to walk a mile when it’s 14 degrees outside. That’s not smart. Again, I asked to get a redo on the order. This is at 10:45. The GM tells me that they can’t do breakfast, it ended 20 minutes ago. Really? You cant pull the frozen food out of the freezer and make the order? You really have no ability to complete the order? This is a failure n many,many levels. First, the GM is incapable of handling a simple situation. Second, she handled the situation in a rude, demeaning manner. Third, McDonald’s is subcontracting for them. They are responsible for the non-delivery. Third, you lied about there not being a DD order. Fourth, you have no ability to rectify the situation? What a trash experience. McDonalds has no sense of professionalism. You are a multi-billion dollar corporation. You have franchisees who pour their hard-earned money and time into a location, then have employees and a corporate structure that places the blame for a problem on the customer. You deserve to fail, and Marie, I hope you get what is coming to you. I would fire you on the spot.

We got a dinner box at McDonald's and I asked for 2 Hamburgers with NOTHING ON IT. When I opened the box, there were 2 regular cheeseburgers. I went inside and spoke to the manager, she said to the cooks we needed 2 Hamburgers PLAIN. When we got home, we received 2 hamburgers with No cheese, but with Pickles, Ketchup, and Onions. We were even reassured that they were Plain Hamburgers. I did not have enough time to go back and reconnect them the 2nd time, I'm allergic to Pickles and am Lactose Intolerant, so this is why I request specific things.

The app was down on their end so we reordered our food and when we were asking if the mobile order would be refunded bc I already had paid and it had taken the money out and the manager got very agitated and told us that we didn’t pay this that and the third even though all I wanted to know was if my money would be refunded… and to add to all of this I didn’t even get what I asked for… I will not be returning even though it’s the closet thing to me sad to say bc I had nothing but good things to say.

I rarely review fast food establishments since they more or less taste the same at every single location. This one is no exception as it is one of two "McDonald's" in the city of Conneaut, Ohio. This particular one is in the heart of downtown Conneaut (at 312 State St.) while the other being at I-90 at Love's Truck Center. Since I needed a quick breakfast and something to fill me up, I decided to come here around 10:20am, right before their breakfast menu transitioned into lunch.The location itself is relatively clean and modern as you can able to order either through the touchscreen kiosks or the old-fashioned way by going up to the register. There is ample seating throughout and this area is very well-lit with an abundance of windows. There were two working public restrooms as well as a self-serve fountain drink station. Finally, the exterior has a drive-thru. This particular location is open for business 7 days a week from 5:45am to 11:00pm. Conneaut is a sleepy little town so many other businesses close up for the day around 9:00pm. I decided to go to the register and they immediately took my order (in less than 30 seconds). I went with their "Sausage McGriddle", "Hash Browns", and "Minute Maid Orange Juice". Total price came out to about $7.00 for everything. This location actually gives you a number and brings your food out to you. Overall, everything tasted fine to me. My McGriddle was hot while the hash brown was crispy. The orange juice had more of a diluted watered down taste but that was probably because of how sugary everything else.All in all, the downtown Conneaut "McDonald's" location is a decent stop if you're strictly looking for fast food. There aren't many other fast food options in this area except for a Dairy Queen, Pizza Hut, and Burger King by the I-90 highway. With that said and done, I am giving this location just an average three stars.
