They always have vanilla bean, and it's amazing. They also have different GF, DF flavors weekly. My husband loves the frosted yellow cake in a chocolate dipped waffle cone. It has chucks of cake and chocolate. It's not GF, DF. I ordered a scoop of soft serve cake batter and a scoop of fudgesicle. “We love Dean Martin’s Lanning’s. It has an updated, old Vegas vibe to it. Dean and Bethany are hands-on and bend over backwards to make sure that you have a perfect experience. I finally settled on Papaya Salad because it sounded delicious, and let me tell you, it was FANTASTIC! The Thai spring rolls are amazing! I could’ve eaten two orders. I ordered the Pho Salad and though it didn’t come out like it was shown on the menu, it was still great. Just next time I’ll know to stick with mild, not mild medium. A tiny bit too much heat for this girl. When I visited today, they were only accepting cash which I read as I walked in the door. Fair enough, they’re just reopening and I had cash on me. Then I ordered more than I originally planned, and forgot about them only taking cash. I got my bill and I was $4 short plus a tip. I offered to leave my debit card with the money I had while I went to an ATM, and my server told me, “No, it’s okay. We trust you.” That’s the kind of people who work here. They’re a breath of fresh air in this crazy world. She didn’t know me, she had no idea of knowing if I’d come back. But I did. And because of that interaction, I’ll come back to dine in again some time.“

“Nice cafe. I had the sausage and gravy with eggs. Warning - their sausage gravy is a bit spicy, so if you don't like hot, don't order. Eggs were cooked right, and the sausage gravy was loaded with meat. My wife had the French toast special with strawberries. Fresh cut strawberries would have made the dish much better instead of the strawberry compote that was served. Service was excellent, wait staff attentive. The cafe is decorated with painting of dogs, which is different.Parking: Free parking behind and on the street in front.“

“We have lunch often at Great Oaks Tavern and we are never disappointed. The service is always good or great (depending on how busy they are) and the food is great. They smoke their own turkey, pulled pork, chicken and more. Salads are fresh and tasty, and the prices are reasonable (as reasonable as dining can be these days. Great Oaks Tavern is a great local grill and put that I would highly recommend.“

I love that most dishes have avocado as an ingredient because of the health benefits. I personally cannot eat avocado due to an intolerance but my food was still amazing even when I took it out! The greens were crunchy, the hollandaise sauce was citrusy, the eggs were perfectly jammy while my bread was beautifully toasted and the bacon and tomato just added to it. I got it with the side of potatoes and those were perfect. I will absolutely be coming back. Also, I’m not big on coffee at all, but their coffee is so amazing that I actually had to get a bag for home.“

My mom and I requested tea, which was perfect. As an appetizer, my daughter requested edamame, which was also perfect. For lunch, I requested crazy noodles, my daughter, pad thai, and my mom avocado curry. A short while later, our meals were delivered. My crazy noodles were superb.
