Went for dinner with family to celebrate a birthday. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. We were in the room with the fireplace, and it was lovely. There were 7 in our party and the large round table made it nice for us to see the birthday girl and visit with each other. The inside was like stepping back in time with the high ceiling and the carved wood trimmings. It set the mood for either a fancy night on the town or just come on in and have a seat. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive to our drinks (pop). Even my daughter was impressed with the resturant/bar.

The Thompsons did a great job in reviving this old restaurant. They kept the old-American charm of the interior, complete with the beautiful old bar, updated the menu, and hired a terrific new staff.Food is excellent.
