Great vegan food! A little pricey, but the food we got was worth it. Had the Tempura battered mushroom sandwich, Fried Cauliflower Gyro, Chili Cheese Waffle Fries and Irish Waffle Fries. Good portion sizes and we were stuffed when we left. Very cool rehabbed old building location. I could see a bar in their future and probably live music at some point. A lot of potential here. Pay them a visit!

Me and my daughter got the buffalo cauliflower rap with their fries and two donuts and they were absolutely delicious we drove an hour and it was worth the drive I would drive it back

I’m not a local and have a hard time finding good vegan food when I’m on the road. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by this place. The food was very tasty and the staff was friendly. Also, the inside was very spacious with plenty of places to sit. One thing I will critique them on is the Mac n cheese needed more salt. It tasted a little bland. Everything else was delicious though. Especially the donuts!

All I can say is WOW. This place is so good! My fiancé and I stopped in for the all vegan menu on a road trip and couldn’t believe how good the food was. We ordered a lot so we could take leftovers with us. The space is also so cool! And it’s also spread out enough that social distancing was a breeze.

Terrific vegan fare! Great care is obvious in Dayton's first all-vegan restaurant. We order every two weeks and rave on social media about how great the food items are to everyone. Mash Up, Southern Fried Tofu, shakes, and to-die-for donuts of all varieties are just a few of our favorites!

Food was really good, but service leaves a lot to be desired... I'm a Dayton native but currently live out of town. My family and I visited my parents this weekend. I'm always looking for local spots to try with my parents- as they typically opt for big chain restaurants when eating out. Found this spot, and submitted an online order for pick-up last evening at 5:45p. The website stated 20 mins for the completion of the order. We arrived a little after 6:15p. My husband went inside to pick up our food and was told that it wasn't ready. Long story short- we left with out food at 6:50p. I'm willing to give grace and understanding where it's due but this unexpected wait came without a mere apology...not cool. My suggestion would be to eliminate the estimated time quote from the website OR call folks if you anticipate that their order won't be ready within the quoted time. We'd like to recommend to others or come back when we're in town in the future (the chocolate shake my husband had was DEVINE, hunty)... but we were majorly turned off by the service/experience.
Absolutely love this place! I'm a Meat Lover. I've had Zero desire or interests in eating vegan. My wife wanted me to "try" it. The food was VERY good! Great selections! I never thought I would EVER associate good, flavorful eating with "Vegan ". This will definitely be a place I regularly visit. Awesome ambience & great customer service!

Just tried this place for the first time because it’s locally owned and vegan! I ordered the Nashville Basket and Vegan Mac, and of course Cheddar Biscuits! The quantity is worth the price and everything was so filling. If you’re not used tovegan food, this place makes it so tasty you’ll love it. They also deliver close by which is perfect. Will definitely be back!

This is my favorite vegan restaurant. OF ANYWHERE. I've been to vegan restaurants in Cincinnati, New Orleans, NYC, and Paris. All were good, but none had the selection, the creativity, or the pure non-nomness of Cafe 1610! Their artisan milkshakes, I firmly believe, are served in Heaven (without the calories, of course.) And I'm a big fan of the cute boho shabby chic decor. My favorite part about Cafe 1610? It's PURELY vegan--I believe the only purely vegan restaurant in Dayton. Not to mention, it's a local business, not a chain. And it's woman-owned! What's not to like? Give it a try. I guarantee you'll be glad you did:)

I wanted to love this place because it's local and the entire menu is plant based. However their food does not taste fresh like the vegan food I enjoy normally. They also mostly had fried items featured in the lunch menu.
