I think they lost something when they moved to the Greene. The hostess was standing up front in her phone and I never saw one server that had a smile. It was a Tuesday at about 4 and not super busy. I ordered a steak fajita salad and my husband ordered tacos. I get my salad with grilled steak and raw veggies. That's not a fajita. You grill the veggies too. Our server never came back to check on us and I had to get up and ask the hostess (on her phone) to get a manager. He finally showed up and said that's how they make the salad. No, then don't call it a fajita salad. I asked for them to grill everything and 15 minutes later I got my salad. Of course my husband was done eating so I got mine to go. No offer of a discount or anything. The drinks were weak and our bill was $65.00. we won't be back. It was a much better place at the smaller building.

I’m so disappointed at this el toro . Every time I come to this one . It could be months apart the food is pretty nasty . I don’t think who is cooking at this location knows what they are doing or they just don’t give a damn . We had a plate of rice and beans that were soaked in oil like dripping . And it looked either way over cooked or old . Even the beans were gross they also tasted like old oil. I asked the waitress if I could get some fresh rice . And they brought the same batch of rice out that looks like it was patted with a paper towel . Like really . And do not get me started on the cheese dip . It was way too thick and came out clumpy and cold . Now the guacamole was on point . That was the best part of my meal . Even my chicken tacos were not that good ..this is my favorite food of all time . I eat at literally every el toro in Dayton . And this one being one of the prettiest having the worst tasting food of them all . I think you need to higher people who actually care what they are serving the guest . Because a plate of old greasy rice don’t cut it . This place is rated the worst el toro in Dayton in my book . Just sad ?

Good experience. Oldest daughter was being frumpy, but she changed her mind by the end of the meal. Wife I and both got frozen margs, they were good. Food was good.

I got stuck with this seat when I went. I’m sure their new decorations were very beautiful, I wish I got to see it. It felt like a medieval punishment.Their menus were covered in old food and were sticky. Didn’t take a picture because it grossed me out too much to keep looking at.The new building was nice but the service needs work, took forever to be greeted, we thought they forgot about us. The food itself was fine.

We have been ordering from here forever. Was really good until this past year they became more and more stingy with the amount of food in the dishes. You pay a good amount and get hardly anything. You can literally see to the bottom of the container. If you order from door dash it’s worse. We are now going to a different location that still serves decent delicious portions for your money.
