Definitely not real Italian food. Sauce tasted burnt, sausage was cut into tiny pieces. Cannoli was hard as a rock.

The pizza is trash. You should be embarrased to serve it. The crust was bland, tasted like cardboard and previously frozen. I took my wife for the first time and she will not come back.

We had a Monte Cristo sandwich with fries. The fries were crisp and hot. I enjoyed them. The sandwich was nothing more than lunch meat between 2 pieces of French toast. It had no flavor. A Monte Cristo that I have enjoy at many other restaurants through out the US...is always assembled and the entire sandwich is dipped in the batter and fried .I should have ordered their pasta which is always tasty. Nice atmosphere and are server was sweet.

Very slow service and the worst food! Alfredo sauce is not supposed to be sweet. The gnats seemed to have enjoyed it( the only way you have gnats in Ohio in December is if you are not keeping a clean facility). First and absolutely the last time here for me and my family. I do find it interesting that the ownership never seems to have any response to either positive or negative comments……. I will let you draw the conclusions there. Highly recommend you look elsewhere for a decent meal!

My food came out cold and when I told the waiter she was rude and had an attitude and refused to take it off. I am only a teenager and she was talking crazy to me and telling me I should have said something earlier when she only checked on our table one and I hadn’t tried my food yet. She said she would take the drink off but my food would still come up to 30 dollars because of the required gratuity. I did not eat any of my food.

Went to Dayton for a wedding this weekend. Looked on-line for a good dinner restaurant and Franco's came up. Read his story and figured this would be an excellent choice and assumed that this place would normally be busy. Had to email for a reservation a week or more before arrival. Service was good, but place was slow. Food was average. But after dinner while having coffee, a Roach crawled across the table. We showed the waitress who said she would inform the manager. She returned with a napkin to kill the bug, but we had already completed that task. She made a statement that "I have never seen one of those out here in the restaurant". Does that mean that roaches are normal inhabitants of the restaurant behind the scene? We never saw nor did we hear from the manager, poor customer service on their part as it most likely would have prevented this review. Definitely would NOT recommend this restaurant.

Came into town (Sat Aug 5) and checked online for a local place to eat. Came upon Franco's and thought we'd give it a try. Made reservations for an hour out and showed up on time. Place was about 1/4 full and outside about half full. Another couple without a reservation was told it would be a 20 min wait and they left. No idea why, the place wasn't even busy. Turned away a perhaps $60 check for no reason. Hmm. Anyway, we sat outside. Nice area, except for numerous loud vehicles passing by. Food was good, but not very flavorful, surprisingly. I had lasagna and it seemed the noodles were over cooked. Everything seemed mushy. My GF had chicken parm and it was pretty good. Service was OK. Server came out and took care of us but never asked how things were. Overall OK, nothing special. Ordered cheesecake for dessert and then were told there was none left. Couldn't have had much to start I guess. So we ordered peanut butter pie, which was delicious. So overall OK but I'm not sure I'd recommend it if anyone were to ask. Not sure if it was an off night. IDK.

Grilled spinach salad was wonderful! The service staff- attentive and professional. Made for a lovely girls-lunch-out!

Seems like they are treading water relying on an outdated reputation. I went there on date for a special occasion. Everything about the place is either tacky or outdated. The front room was completely empty and there was no one at the front desk. We had to wait a while just to be told there would be more of a wait. I think it was something like 45 minutes even though the place was empty. We ended up eating at the bar. The drinks were bad, the bartender messed up an old fashioned, the food was marginal. After dinner we went to The Dublin Pub for a beer. We should have skipped to the end.
